That will be great when she dies, then these fundamentalists and protestors can go back to ignoring the child starving down the road, or the wife who gets beaten right next door.....

I dare you to tell me that Terri Schiavo would have wanted all this attention/video of her in a brain dead state all over TV.

Another good thing about after she dies, the fundamentalist church by my house can go back to "collecting shampoo for the homeless" and other worthy causes.

I agree completely. Everyone states, "Let the poor woman die." If her husband did not want her to suffer, then upon knowing the degree of brain damage she had suffered, he should have had the life support plug pulled in the beginning.

Anyone who actually agrees this woman should starve to death in order to, "end her suffering", is moronic and should be forced to undergo the same treatment of nourishment deprivation.

 

And they'll be sure to have their hair done so they look good on camera....

 

I hope congress can waste another 5 million dollars deciding the fate of one brain damaged woman while homeless shelters, police forces, schools, state budgets, medicare, and other programs are getting cut left and right due to lack of funding.

They should have let Kevorkian out of jail to handle this.

 

it is noones damn business except the families. if you havent been in the situation you shouldnt judge. every member of that family has every right to feel the way that they do. its a hard situation, a hard decision, a hard death and a hard life. he moved on....so the fuck what....what are you supposed to do after all the years....he still was there though, still went to visit her. he was offered 1 and 10 milliion dollars, rejecting both to fulfill his wife's wishes. that doesnt sound like someone who is after something. you do not understand his position, his parents positions, noones position unless you have walked those shoes.....and if you havent you have no right to judge....this is between the family, terri and God

i feel that there is a better way to do it....as far as it should have been done at the beginning...thats bullcrap, takes 5 years to get as far as you will likely be...stop judging people...

I would guess that 97% of people in the world would have moved on after 15 years, and countless doctors reporting that there is no hope of recovery.

If this wasn't her wish, then what motive would he possible have for going through all of this trouble when the family was more than willing to take care of her....its not a money issue, he's already got someone else/could get a divorce without rational people criticizing him.....

My only complaint is the method that she is dying by, and the root of that also lies with religion and government and their unwillingness to allow someone to die if they want to.

Misguided/token sympathy is all this is....there are many more worthy causes than this

One mnore note: its funny that most of these people were blind supporters of the war in Iraq, they care about one brain dead American, but don't give a fuck about truckloads of babies killed by US bombs.
