i read the whole article and felt nothing to be 100% honest

thats not saying i'm a cold hearted being [i might be but i'm saying this for a point lol] i just read that and think "Expected"

the world is such a fucked up place, and i've seen such fucked up things in my life that i've become totally desensatized to everything, it doesnt suprise my 1 bit that Gi's raped an innocent girl

nor did it suprise me that brittny spears shaved her head and got tatoo's, in my books it's all the same, people act on will and emotion, wether that be a suicide bombing, or some stupid celebrity bullshit

all actions have repercussions and consequences, and wether good or bad, things are still gonna happen

if people took everything to heart, they would be a nervous wreck all the time, to me reading that article the people involved are nothing more then names written on a website, nothing further

well not into a prison or anything, I mean more or less like let them settle it on themselves and when theyr ready to be peaceful and tolerant its all good. I dont condone any harm onto muslims because I have some friends from the middle east and they are cool as fuck. and I mean the way the middle east is right now is worse than prison. this needs to be cleared up because its just getting worse.

To be honest, I'm really surprised at some of the replies, I would have expected better. I guess I just have to realize that the majority are people truly are self-righteous. It's kind of ironic in this forum, though. Many here are the first to stand up and disagree with the media and government's propaganda against marijuana, yet you agree with them when it comes to propaganda against 'terrorists'. Can you not see something wrong with this?

in relation to that story, the soldiers are wrong, very fucking wrong yes but at the end of the day you cannot discredit their job. The word terrorist now is automatically linked to muslim terrorists, because that is what our media is currently obsessed with. 10 years ago, terrorists were the Chechen rebels that blew up that school, or the Irish members of the IRA who planted bombs that killed 1798 Civillians. Soldiers were deployed in Northern Island to try and stop the trouble taht was ending so many lives and eventually did, ending the pointless killing. Jesus, what mercenaries those guys were!

This is pretty long, i'll wrap it up. Christianity and Islam are both quite war mongering religions in my opinion, their messages read by the wrong person can be interperated wrongly and violence can follow. Remember the Crusades?

 

I was ashamed by The IRA terror bombing campagain.
There is no injustice in Belfast that justifies the bombing of innocents in London's Business District, or anywhere else.
As an Irishman I felt deep shame. That if life on The Bogside were just so terrible than those folks should just move here to America like the thousands and thousands of other immigrants legal and illegal rather than support terrorist-mafia who bomb innocents.

Shame works. Eventually Americans cut out support of IRA sham charities.
I remember Gerry Adams visiting my town to raise money, I was disgusted and stayed away.
People gave some credit to President Clinton for pushing negotiations and shining some light on the troubles,
I could only wish The Prince of Wales whould get more involved.

The IRA is a usefull lens through which Westeners can view terrorism in other parts of the world.

If I can say that grievances over wars by Oliver Cromwell and William (Billy)
of Orange are bullshit reasons for Irishmen to nurse resentments and that we should all get along; then the same can be said for The Crusades.

Its one thing for Westerners to rank terrorists, what I'd like to see is some self-examination and self-critique by Islamic peoples.

That really isn't true. Sorry for my attack on you, from your earlier posts you seemed rather racist and anti-muslim but thats possibly because you're full of the propaganda spread against them. Yes some of them are fucking psychos (like the ones in Digitalls pics) and yes some of them will happily die for the cause believing they'll be rewarded with their virgins when they get to heaven.
But the fact of the matter is, the majority dont believe that, and never have, but now are being bundled into the same category as the mad heads who want to blow themselves up all because they read the same book

 

That's the point I'm trying to make with this thread; many people assume that all Muslims are violent terrorists. Now it's obvious that some are, but there's a few in every crowd; Muslims, Jews, Christians, Atheists, etc. People choose to point out the wrong doings of other ethnicities/religions while ignoring the wrong doings of their own. Sure killings go on in the Middle East, but don't they go on in America and Europe too? I'm not saying all soldiers are rapists, but it holds true to Muslims as well; a terrorist is not a Muslim, he is a terrorist, he should be categorized as such.

 

A person is never happy except at the price of some ignorance. You call extremists Muslim; they exist in all religions and ethnicities, stereotyping them is ignorant.

Then you do not know jack crap about their religion, that is about as true as you being a potato with six arms.
