Hey! My name is Marcus, I'm 27 years old, and I'm from Canada. Came to this site during my research phase on dreadlocks and eventually decided the natural way was the one for me. I've been free forming my dreads from the beginning and they are now 13 months old 3/4 done my BA in Archaeology and will be taking a few-several years off while I search for a cure for the travel bug! The doctors say there is no cure, but that there is treatment, excessive traveling! I was first self diagnosed in 2009 when I changed my return ticket 3 times and ended up traveling around Europe for 6 months! During my time home(in Canada) I relapsed and I am now in China teaching English for the next year or so... You can find my dreads in this link http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=395309&f=209 and you can find my travel videos here https://www.youtube.com/user/8FoldPathProductions

Yo! I didn't post here for quite a while so I'll introduce myself. I'm a young lady from Montreal, Canada. I don't have dreads yet, but I've been considering having some for a moment so I was looking at the topics here for infos. I think about shaving half of my head and get a tattoo done there, while I'd keep the other side long and probably have a couple of dreads in it, this and there. I used to work in the legal field but got back to photography, painting and fashion after some time, as my passion for these was stronger. I'm crazy about tattoos, I think they're beautiful and can tell a lot about the person wearing them. I also have a passion for art, travels, electronic music, botanics/gardening, yoga, culinary arts and archeology. Talk to you soon! :seeya:
Well, I've never posted here so I guess I'll do it for the hell of it. My name is Winter (no really, it is). I've been a member for about a year. I go through phases where I'm on here all the time, and not at all. I've been growing dreads for about 5 or 6 weeks, I'm not really counting. My friend Jasmine pretty much begged me to let her put dreads extensions in my hair... they look pretty fly but I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep them or not. Something about my hair not being completely natural bugs me. tis all.
Hello fellow dreadies! My name is Jackie and I'm from New Hampshire I've been dreading for almost a year (sometime between Nateva and Gathering of the Vibes last summer I FINALLY started my dreads). I like hiking with my dogs, going to festivals & just seeing live music in general! I make beads & have been selling polymer clay stuff since I was in my early 20's. I''m gonna be 26 at the end of September, so I'm trying to grow up a bit and turn my running around in lots after shows into an actual business Here's my Etsy shop link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DreadyPrincessDesign I'd LOVE to connect with other artists, so heyyyyyyy everybody and glad to be here!!!
Hello! My name is Reanna, 18, and I've had my dreads for almost a month now. I achieved mine through twist and rip. Best hair decision ever! I live in Oregon and I'm going to school to become an elementary teacher.
Hi Reanna, And Welcome To The Dreadlock Section Of "Hip Forums".... Thank You For Joining Us.... Cheers Glen.
white women with dreads... hmm... very attractive but weird, don't see that alot in person. its cool though
In my high school I had a choir teacher who had dreads. They were long, past his bottom! He was the one that sparked my interest in dreads.
hey, I'm David from Colorado. second time around with dreads, by neglect and a few braids. going on 11 years now. I also have a dread that came from braiding three smaller ones. I enjoy being natty, natural, been doin it since '92. it's getting tough to find good work these days though.
