The only breed that is banned is the pit bull. And in certain suburbs of Denver they are still legal. I think it is just Denver and Aurora that have a ban on them.

Yeah most of this part of the country is republican. FoCo is a city but all around it is small towns and farm land. I lived in Greeley which is by FoCo for a semester and I hated it. The town smells like shit literally due to the farm country, there is a huge Mexican gang problem and there is really no work or industry besides the college and farming. Everyone goes to FoCo for jobs. Dispenserys are banned but I assume they will have pot stores under the new laws.

I'm curious, did the dispensaries simply pop over the city line? Or did they move or fold full stop?

    hey man,
I live in an area called City Park West. Check it out, I'm on 17th street, and there are lots of hospitals on 18th.

They had to close in Northern Colorado. So anyone in the area needs to go to Denver or have a caregiver. Weed itself is not illegal just the stores. But that means people who live up there can have allot of patients. I have seen some big grow rooms and it is all legal.

So since the whole amendment 64... Have any weed restaurants open up? Or would it even be legal?

Possession is legal but there is no way to buy it unless you are a medical card holder. After the new year taxed sales are legal for anyone 21 or over. Right now you can bring your own to some places and buy it from "donations" for grow supplies without a card. The plan is for there to be medical dispenserys and retail shops but most dispenserys will probably open for anyone.

This is sort of like buying a bong for tobacco, everyone knows what is up but we have to use certain words only. Donations are not sales, we can not have a sale without tax so we won't do that. As a buyer you have nothing to worry about. Dealers are being set up, the state is not getting tax from them, they don't like that. And after the retail stores open the dealers are out of business anyway unless the tax is so ridiculous no one shops there and it might be. Things are still undecided.

Well, now that I've been in exile in Oakland, Denver looks easy, everywhere!

I'd avoid anyplace that sounds too good to be true.
Always go hang in a neighborhood after work hours to get the real noise and parking situation.
Some places close to fitzsimmons (CU medical) are nice.
This is coming from an older single woman with mild mobility issues. That means I cannot run as readily as others.

Neighborhoods can be great on one block and sketch down the street.
But it's all pretty good compared to big cities.

Public transport is easy, see www.RTD-Denver.com

Breed bans are bully breeds, including Staffys. English bull dogs are fine.
Also, wolf hybrids are banned statewide.

I live in the springs. We have a hospital that is one of the top 50 in the US. Springs has a nice little hippy community called Manitou Springs next to it. There's a ton of military but I was pleasantly surprised at the taxes, coming from PA. My bi weekly check was almost 200 more than usual. The sales tax is 7.9% so they get u there. There are tons of restaurant jobs here, my sister is in the same industry and doesn't have issues finding jobs. Everyone here is outdoorsy. Lots of hiking trails and parks. Also smack dab in the middle of Colorado so travel is easy. I think the best cities in Colorado are the small ones though. The ghetto of the springs isn't even ghetto..

Now, I've considered the Springs, and Manitou.
What's the vibe like if you are not pro military? (I can shut up, but the eyes do not lie)
