first ever town named a world heritage site here..huge organic farming community.several summer festivals including one week-end festival in the park out side my building...62 restaraunts/pubs only 5000 people in the town proper..an hour is ottawa/hull...100 lakes within 50 kilometre circle...cottage country
there are many amazing places near my home. mckinney falls state park, barton springs green belt, zilker park, pedernales falls, 6th street, lake austin, texas stadium, alamo drafthouse... the list goes onandon.
you talking about the concord road (doesnt it change names before the bridge? ) covered bridge?? i thought i heard it had burned down?? maybe not that has been years ago.. oh the stories i could tell about that bridge and the trestles right down from it.. people still putting snickers bars out for the water heads that live under the bridge?? i bet that area is nothing like it was way back in the day.. ahhhh good times..:cheers2:
that's so sexy. and sorta hypnotic. i always wanted to learn wood working, but everyone in my life has wisely decided it's best for me not to be around sharp objects, especially ones that move.
I like to watch woodworking & home construction. Used to watch those shows on PBS or TLC.. This Old House and New Yankee Workshop. And I love the smell of wood!
