my only advice if you begin to watch dexter is to watch the season from the first episode, it'll make more sense and be a better experience. Agreed nate?...season 1 isn't necessary to get season 2, we can clarify any questions....
Basically anything on science channel, history channel, animal planet, or discovery channel in that order, but I don't watch very often, as lately television just hasn't been catching my attention. Television on LSD was freaking amazing, especially commercials. I watch a lot of anime online(lol it was on tv at some point)... One Piece, Death Note, Grappler Baki, Bleach, some other random ones I'm going through all at once of which I don't remember the names...
I feel my mind slowly being consumed by a gurgling pool of propaganda-acid every time I view this Mysterious Box
Yea as long as you start from the beginning of the season you will be fine. I started from season 1 episode 1 and loved it. I watched every single episode.
They play them from 4 or 5 in the morning till 7 or 8 think. Used to watch them alot when i was coming down from a trip at my parents house. And to the OP i used to watch a lot of TV when i was younger. Shows i used to watch religously were stargate, altanis, fox sunday night line up, southpark, and lost (still watch lost favorite show). Now that i dont have cable in my apartment i get my Television dose when i go over to one of my buddies place. At one i watch movies and family guy all the time and at my other buddies house its always on spike or speed i think its called (they are big big car guys) watching pinks and UFC (Im really starting to get into them).
so u sit there for 5min ignoring what ur watching. thats like 15min an hour, if u add up all the times u watch tv in a week, an 15min for every hour- u realise how much time u wasted
the only shows i follow on tv as they come out is south park and intervention i usually watch anything on vh1 classic, history channel, food channel, discovery channel (all those learning channels) i watch the black and white movie station a lot too i don't watch a ton of tv, but i always have it on anyway, and if i get bored i'll browse through and watch
oh yea intervention is a pretty good show i havnt watched that in a while. i forgot all about it its pretty crazy to see all the drugs and shit them people do. what i dont understand is what do they think they are being fillmed for before they actually know that there family is interviening.
i wonder if they get paid cause why would you want people to know your an addict especially to harder drugs
lol yeah, if i was addicted to drugs i probably wouldn't wanna be on that show unless someone paid me some money for it.. who knows, maybe the producers give them drugs to stay on the show lol
i seriously wouldnt be suprised there out for ratings not the peoples well being. If you want proof watch those vh1's behind the realitly shows and you see what there really like. I remember on one the host got fucking stabbed and you hear a producer tell them to keep filming.
yea if i was addictied to like crystal meth i wouldnt want people to be filming me do it. but i guess they are so out of it that they dont even know whats going on. ive always wondered if reality shows are set up. it seems like everything is layed out for the show its just the people in it that add the randomness.
Ya I was that shit is was called cheaters or somethign and they ambush people that were cheating on their wifes and shit and this guy stabbed the producer rofl. One guy had a gun and he started blasting it off and shit, that show was fucked up.
I don't have a TV! T.V. amazes me, really. Everytime there is a tv on in the room, i can't help but stare at the people watching it. I am in awe of the power a little box with flashing pictures has over people. Millions and millions of people, yikes. I do enjoy a good movie though!
Dexter is just like total awesomeness in every way. I like a shit-load of TV shows/series but Dexter tops them all imo. The first season was the most incredible thing I've witnessed on a TV show. It completely glues me to the screen and gets all my attention.
I'm like you Foc. I always stare at the people instead of the tv. Can't watch it. Movies and internet TV's not bad on occasion. Has to be thought provoking/interesting/funny though.
