Tattoo and Piercing Pics

This is my only Tat. I designed it, Each part of it is stuffed full of symbolism. I love it. It'll probably be the only one I get but since ya can't get any better than perfect... lol

Now piercings on the other hand... :-D I'm at 9 and counting!

Got this one done on St. Patrick's day. Turned out quite nicely, I think.

I've also got my family crest on my back, but don't have any pics of that, and quite a few piercings in my ear.

then friday i got my belly button done again.

 

Damn girl... I mean damn.

Ok well I used to have my ear peirced, but it healed up in jail and I havn't gotten round to repeircing it yet. I peirced it with a tack the first time, when I was completly trashed, but I'd prefer to get it done professionally this time...

 

aha i love my "surface piercing" as the guy called it.

i've done 4 out of 9 of my ears with a saftey pin.
lobes are fine to do yourself.
just be clean and sanitary.:cheers2:

 

In my freshman year of high school, some guy, for no reason at all, piercing his ear with a tack. Then he cleaned the hole with hand sanitizer. I can imagine piercing my ear. That wouldn't be too bad, but i bet the sanitizer hurt like a mother. lol

 

Hand sanitizer?! Ouch! i just use regular ear piercing cleaning liquid.
i bet that would have stung so bad.

 

The thing is, the idiot wasn't even doing it to actually pierce his ear, he just wanted to poke a hole through it. Then, five minutes later, he decided he'd put a paper clip in it and had to pierce it again.

I don't think I have ever met anybody quite as dumb. lol

people call me stupid for doing my own piercings, but i at least have a reason.

I did most of my piercings myself. I used a Straight pin for my nose (hurt like hell but I was sooo broke) And 3 outta the 5 in my ears. Obviously My Nipple rings and my Hoodie piercing I got done professionally but I was lucky to know the guy so I got a discount - all 3 for $75. :cheers2:

 

I only have one earlobe pierced but I did it myself. Back in '73 I wouldn't have known where to get it done, not like we had malls and things in New Orleans.

Someone told me how to do it and I took a sewing needle with thread, put a sliced potato behind my ear and pushed it thru. Got a little freaked when it stuck in cartilege or something but it finally went thru.

The thread was soaked in alcohol, same as the needle and my earlobe. The sting from that wasn't as bad as the psych pain of pushing a freakin' needle thru your flesh. In fact the pain was kinda nice, meaning I made it - did my little daring pirate thing and had a hole in my ear to prove it.

Tied off the thread and wore that for a couple days, putting alcohol on it periodically.

Oh, one other ingredient - a couple glasses of wine helps.

 

Thanks! i hear yeah. i've only paid[myself] for my belly button rings. my 1st and third lobes and cartlidge were birthday and they were done professionally. i did my second lobes in the alley behind my school in gr. 7 and fourths. just a saftey pin, a lighter and some piercing antiseptic. Oh.. and a few shots.

I've never thought about using a sewing needle with thread in it. seems smart!:cheers2:

It's gone now sadly, because of a stupid little thing called having to have a job
The lip ring is gone too, I don't have any pictures of that though.
Man, I never knew it was possible to miss your piercings this much...
