i finally got my nipples pierced! yay

(i couldn't geta pic of both of them... damn camera wouldn't cooperate, and i had no one to help me take the picture.. but hopefully i'll get a pic of both soon)

it is called the traigus.. i have both of mine done unfortunatlly i dont have any pics yet.. they pierce it with a hoop... it took a good two months for it to heal compleetly with no soreness...my glands were swollen for two weeks after i got it done and it hurt to smile... once it healed i put regular studs in and ive had them for 3 years now... i also have my tounge, my labret, eyebrow, nose,two holes in each lobe the first is an 8 gage and the second is standard for now... my daughter is two weeks old and when i bring her to get her ears im getting a third in mine... i also have two tattoos and am going for my new ones in a few weeks

 

Here's the story behind these tattoos: The heart with a halo one is mine, and the heart with horns is my best friend Kristie's. The night before Kristie had to go back to Iowa, my tattoo artist friend invited us to hang out with him after work and after she and I had gone out to dinner. So, we showed up at the shop around 8:30 and he didn't end up finishing work til after 10. We hung out and waited anyway. Meanwhile, Kristie and I had found these two heart tattoos on some flash on the wall that we had absolutley fallen in love with. Now, Kristie's my best friend, short of my husband, of course, and we just adore each other. So, we decided to take the leap and get inked with these tats. The whole night was an adventure, though, because we ended up there until 4am! I got a small tear drop with the number 13 in it (a symbolic reference to my husband, long story) on my side, below the bird I've since included, and the halo heart on my right outer hip, and she got hers on her right outer hip as well. It was a totally amazing night, and it was the most fun I've had in a very long time. We talked and goofed off and inked and all sorts of crap. It was just hilarious, because both my tattoo artist, Ryan, and Krisite are really funny, cool, laid back people. It was a night I never, ever want to forget. Kristie got on the plane a little hung over a lil after 9 am, with no sleep and lots of caffeine. I miss her already, but I'm moving out there soon. I have the perfect tattoo to help me remember that wild night!

this is a blurry picture, but if you can make it out you will realize that it is the 1988 cover picture from the book: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Illustrations done by Ralph Steadman.

Those who have it done know the scene at hand, pierce the nipples. Yes this is actual footage of the actual deed. I now have bars that look like screws, they're pretty sweet. make it look like you drilled em right through.

i have 2 tattoos. the one i just got says 'cali grown' & the other one is the white rabbit from alice & wonderland. the old illustration of him of course not the ghetto lookin cartoon one. ill post pics.

its the pic that looks crroked but the line for one of the points is longer...NOT on purpose..the guy was supposed to redraw it but didnt and he had 5 more tata after me all to be done in 1 hour so (my own mistake...i know) didnt look as well as I should have at the stencil...it wasnt as far forward as I wanted and it wasnt redrawn...the only thing that pissed me off was that he came out to ask me if it was a spiral in the middle, he had a stencil for a star in his hand and pointed it out on there...I think he just realized he was WAY overbooked and didnt take the time or effort to redraw it..but its too late now and besides its kind of neat having my exact design on me...

 

I like it. And like you said, it's your own design and no one else has it.

And I love your sig...my husband would definitely say that's "true romance".
