I think it is a damn bleak day here. As far as I'm concerned, officially the US is both a world wide laughing stock as well as we should be greatly feared...a man that cannot handle angry tweets and has openly said "bomb the shit out of them" is now over the military.

And for those of you that seem to give a shit about animals...keep in mind 1 of his sons proudly posed with an endangered (beautiful) dead leopard and another 1 appeared quite pleased with himself as he posed holding the tail of an elephant he killed. I can't help but think the fate of animals, ALL animals, will be the last thing that will concern him or this government that was voted in.

 

I am sick of exit polls. Almost every poll taken has been wrong so why would anyone think they are accurate after the fact.

Bernie would have won. But crooked Hillary rigging the primaries was ignored. The Democrats wanted someone they could control and it bit them in the ass. The women could not get people to come to her rallies. The camera angles at them were very deceptive. Not enough people were willing to settle for her which is what they counted on. You are going to not like her but accept her because Trump is so bad. It's what I thought would happen.

Ok serious question.
If all the politicians disappeared today how long would it take before we noticed and how long would it be before it had real affect on a majority of people's lives?

 

Not long... As soon as there's nobody around to pay the cops, fire departments, keep the public lights on like traffic signals.... Yeah, it's be a mess pretty quick. Or maybe you didn't mean "all" politicians including local ones.

I was thinking about local politicians like mayors. I didn't think they actually handed cops or electric companies the checks.

I wasn't thinking about treasurer or auditor or those other candidates that are people nobody ever heard of unless you are in a small town.
