rifle deer not here til Monday after thanksgiving.. bud asked me this week to go to Elk county for Elk season. no way hombre... aint getting me to drag no 600lb animal out of the woods.

 

they are trying to reintroduce elk here but they love walking the train tracks...doesnt work out well

 

Elk are weird. they have Elk in North Carolina, and north about 200miles from me, but the heavy woods of around the rest of the state no Elk.. Weird to me..

Less than a month ago there was an elk spotted in Pickens County here in SC. There were several pictures taken of him. They said it has been since the 1700's since there have been any elk spotted here, and that it was a buck hunting a female. He'll most likely need to head back up to NC to find what he's looking for.

Today I went to the grocery store, headed back home and realized I had forgotten something, turned around and went back to this convenience store. At the convenience store when I got out of the car, there were 2 young men standing, talking right at the hood of my car, where I was parked. They say "LOOK you gave the lizard a ride!" I look and dang if there wasn't one of the little green chameleons that LOVE living here. lol I told the little guy to just hold on and I'd get him on home soon. So...I go inside and get what I needed, and come out with the little green lizard was on the hood. Sure enough, he flattened down and seemed to know just how to make himself aerodynamic, turning his little head back toward me and we got home safe and sound.

I'll say I was very surprised at how great that made me feel...riding around a little green lizard and then bringing him back home.

I do hope he is now satisfied and not looking for any more jaunts. lol

 

there is some kind of genetic anomaly moose not far north of here (they arent albino) ...theyve been spotted again this year nice to know theyre still around because technically they can be hunted the same as a normal color moose

Was just playing a soccer game on my phone. My opponent was playing very defensively so I got pissed and decided to take my full length of time and not put the ball in any spot were he could score. It was 2-0 in a game up to 3. His lead.
Normally a game lasts 5 minutes tops. This last goal was over 20 minutes.
The ball was finally kicked from the corner. I screw up and leave the ball right in front of my goal. No defender anywhere near my goal.
And he lost his Internet connection on the one kick that guarantees his win.
