just saw a snippet of 60 minutes on the news....guessing it was sundays show...they did expose on weed in Colorado....they showed an 85 person weed operation...a legal one.....those people were trimming plants at lightning speed....and they have to stand.....it made weed trimming look like the most horrible job ever.....

stoners drool over that dream job in a weed factory but those jobs are actually like sweat shop jobs....some of the people they showed ''looked'' unemployable in other industries

 

I think stoners are under the impression they'll get free weed out of it. I dunno, maybe they do? But I know profitable business don't particular run like this. Treat their staff like staff, not customers.

I haven't jogged for two evenings now. I need to figure out how I can jog and be active but to stop losing the weight from it. But I don't want to increase bad foods or intake because I also don't want to digest so much food. Maybe need protein shakes more often? I've been doing my mid section exercises so I'm looking good. just afraid of getting too skinny because I don't see it at all. I see same old Jocelyn in the mirrors all the time it's not until I see a photo of myself that I see the changes and I don't have photos of me too often so I don't see it. Sometimes though I'll even selfie the mirror because the photo will reveal something different than the mirror. Normally I see it in my arms and face, that are a little thinner than they were. So I'm doing push-ups and some light weights to get my arms a bit more toned. I'm not sure how not to lose weight in the face though.

 

Now that both front calipers are bolted and torqued properly my car handles great again.... Forgot how grippy those 17" tires are. The "replacement tire for the replacement tire" is good... It was actually cheaper than the first one, too.


They put in the swaybar links I bought elsewhere. Might have disrupted the mechanic's thinking.

I told my Laura already that she isn't allowed to eat anything because I want to plan something this morning. I think we'll go out for breakfast. Breakfast is really my dinner keeping hours I do. I know lots of people are like, how can you drink or be drunk so early and eat all that! Well, I been up for like 12 hours already you see.

I'm thinking ribs. I got me a hankering? For some ribs. Mmm. Maybe even brisket. I'm going to google the best brisket and ribs place around. Even though in a small establishment, I'm pretty heathen when and where it comes to eating. Like, I just go to places I enjoy, even if it is every week to get the same lamb cutlets and veges. I'll do that because the service is good and I like the environment but it also means I disclude a lot of other places around town. You always hear about this place and that place but I gotta be really adventurous to go trying new places because at the end of the day menus are relatively similar and I don't want to try a new place if I'm already enjoying another.

The place we go to is like club food, a services club. Counter styles. I don't particularly like getting the meat there because I it just isn't grilled with good taste etc. so I go schnitzel or cutlets or the burger but I'm getting sick of the burgers now. I'll go to proper steakhouse for grilled meat.

So I want to try somewhere new for a date. and then maybe the movies. Might even pack my water pipe for the parking lot hehe.

 

tomorrows plans are ruined for me...was supposed to be a day in the bush but now some guy needs his car fixed right away before the temp permit expires...needs shocks in back..brakes at all corners ..exhaust repairs and a list of other things for passing inspection ..looks like a whole day at least

good news is the weather looks ok for moving plans to friday or weekend

 

I was almot that guy today although tbf my permit expired last night at midnight.....the ministry lady had said it was etested last august and I didn't need one.....she was wrong....lady today said I need one....and my chuck engine light was still on

so I went and first got an oil change and new air filter...the expensive synth oil......then the light was still on and I knew I could not get tested so I head home....part way I decide at a red light to jump out and tighten my gas cap....check engine light goes out on the next start so I drove back and forth on the highway trying to get it to come on....it cycled through after 50k so I returned and passed the etest

finally van is all legal....and my month has a nice color of blue for the sticker....and I got a fairly cool license plate number

 

mine says something like BXKY...not exactly sure if its that because i have a few ...but when i see it i think bring extra KY

 

Went to the store just to pick up a snack and drink.
Every register was filled with people with overflowing carts of food.
Now I don't judge but when you are wearing raggedy clothes and have 3 kids with raggedy clothes I can't help but wonder how you can fill your cart with a few hundred dollars of brand name food.

It only took a few seconds after standing in the ridiculous line to remember yesterday was Halloween so today was the first of the month.
I wish working 40 hours a week got me that much food.
