last day of my second temp permit on the van and it was finished aand certified today.....half hour later my chuck engine light came on .....my mechanic had to cut my outer tie rods off...they were on there seized good and no amount of heat etc would budge either one...he did a cut and weld with bolts.....he wasn't happy lol

but I am...i'm happy

all the kids from the entire island converge on the village for Halloween....it was very cool and surreal.....like a scene from a movie.....the island ambulance sets up with a mangled body and they give out treats....same with the store....the pub turns into a haunted house with fog machine and spooky happennings

 

I don't get mtv or much music....my sat package is barebones plus movie channels....I don't even have news channels anymore....

welding is not allowed on steering or suspension parts

 

welded bolts onto the cut ends of the old tie rods for leverage.....don't worry...no welding on the steering parts going in

 

he said its the first time in his career he couldn't get tie rods off a vehicle without cutting them

 

ive needed torches a few times just to heat them up ...but rarely

 

that reminds me of something i did last week that was scary

i filled my smaller (actually medium) oxygen bottle by equalizing it to a larger full bottle with a homemade high pressure hose .....not supposed to do that but it works

Never seen it either. But everyone around here seems to enjoy it so I've never said anything.

 

Only had it on PBS in the states until recently.
Not sure if there is a Canadian equivalent.
What kind of station plays sesame Street up there?

 

we get public television here that shows sesame street but the new ones are only available on hbo

 

when i was a kid i think sesame street was on TVO (t v ontario)
