no snow here yet and no rain...but i just saw a truck that was obviously coming from up north and it was covered in dirty snow and ice

 

my uncle was ice president of a uge Canadian toy company all through my childhood.....he was the best uncle ever.....he would open the trunk of his car and was filled with model cars and airplanes and games of every kind...i cant tell y'all how many motorized advanced models i started and never finished.....we had too many...spoiled rotten with the toys

here is one they actually had Canadian rights to...it is a Frisbee but it had a handle sticking down from the center bottom...the idea was it threw like a Frisbee but you catch by the stick prodruding from the bottom

another of his toys was klackers....but shitty knock off ones that shattered...its amazing none of us 6 kids didn't lose an eye cause we had a dozen of them lying around for like a year when they were popular

I wasn't contesting uncles, just whinging at the fact I was in trouble and I'm 29. Like, who gets "in trouble" at that age, but you know when the fambam is saying something you have that in trouble guilt, or feelings. Hard to explain. Anyone else carry on like that on the phone I'd dismiss very quickly but family member upset... I take that to heart a bit and really I was under impression he'd call me to arrange a time because I'm not sure when he'll be home. So I ring him in the afternoon and say hey so did you need me to come around and water the plants? I could tell he was angry and one word answers but I also knew he didn't want to travel to where he had to on the weekend so I pass it off as that. I get that way too. But then he rings tonight carrying on and tells me "I asked for you to come around during the week but no so don't worry about it" and then he rings me 5mins later advising which to water. -eyerolls-

In other news I have an item to collect at the post office. And now this annoys me even more as I got an email saying it's to be collected but no card on my door suggesting they didn't even really attempt to deliver it and just took it to the post office when they got there anyway. I'll query them about that. :toetap05:

Also with the car I can win it's out of 167 people all up lol. I have to assume some won't show up on Saturday night so maybe I have 1/150 chance. But hey it's a chance right? And this stuff don't happen for me too often, I'm like the have not never was type of person. Cool play on words and a good rap duo name The Have-Knots. if I win the car I promise I'll make a big scene about it.

i have a chuck-house steak in the oven that is so big i had to cook it like a roast.....grass fed....i have taters and carrots baking with it on low and slow....its agonizing sitting here waiting

Smarties are cheap little candy that are tart and come in clear plastic wrapping. I see them all the time. Nothing special. I prefer sprees when I want tart candy.
