You may be right that we are downgrading the root causes, however the fact is that the main issue is violence and this is inexcusable from both sides no matter what the background. I think your ideas would be better suited to a time when we're talking about another topic. Like I said, why don't you start a thread which argues whether muslims are able or willing to fit into western society without threatening its values.

 

fair enough, but i don't really have much desire to do that at this time. The event is long gone and over.

But if it happens again i'll make sure i protest to the best of my ability.

To the person who tried to justify the riots in Cronulla...

A lot of my mates are in fact Lebanese, Greek, Slavic, Jewish (like myself) and Muslim. There is a lot of good and bad in every community in society. Skips (White Aussies) can be real fuckwitted but they are not all like that. I have bumped into many violent white Australians before and it is unfortunate. The gang rapes that occured in Sydney were horrible to read about in the paper (like all rape is) but I dont think it is right to go around and putting it down to Islam or anything about their ethnicity. What about the massacre in Port Arthur in Tasmania...? The killer was a white aussie male...shot and killed 36 people in cold blood??? Do we blame his ethnicity???

What about the other murders throughout Australian history...lots of it was done by whites and lots of it was done to the Aborigines by whites...and you say white people are the victims of racial abuse by members of ethnic groups.....IT HAPPENS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!!!


I'm angry, I'm loud, I'm ethnic and I'm proud!!!
