so my mom had a leaky aneurysm (not a full-blown BAM! aneurysm) on one side and a small stroke on the other. they treated the aneurysm, and they need to figure out whats up with the rest of her situation. she has some significant memory loss, we are hoping it will come back. she also got to fly in a helicopter, but she doesnt remember. your continued thoughts would be welcome.

stressed out. my moms only 45, so it was pretty surprising for something like this to happen. i think it was slowly leaking for a few days, but she just had a headache and didnt feel well. she keeps asking someone to call her work and tell them she wont be it. she has no recollection of the last 2-3 days.
im pretty tough with this stuff, but im not ready to lose her. im not really ready for her memory to be that gone either. im hoping as the bleeding stops and is reabsorbed it will get better, but she probably wont ever remember what happened. we just got home, hubby has to work tomorrow, and i havent had my meds in 2 days, so i have to get to that before i start shaking and crap, though i actually feel alright as far as that.
now that they have dealt with the most pressing matter i feel a little better, though she will be at increased risk for these issues in the future. we also have to figure out what caused it, and whats crazy is the stroke probably saved her life by giving an indicator to my dad that something was wrong.
its been a fucked up week, hubby's grandfather passed, so we had all that funeral stuff to deal with, then the evening of the funeral this stuff went down with my mom. my cats were so hungry (though the bag of food was right there, and they have chewed through bags before, so they wouldnt have starved except from stupidity)

im just drained. ready for a drink and a smoke and some sleep.

 

tie dying is like one of my favorite things EVER and i kind of suck at it but that's ok . tie dye shorts would be so cool!

work again today up at the medgrow....the dogs got a new house so we have to take some fence out andmake a switch..the new doghpose is big enough for all 3 huge dogs...its built better than the humans house and takes 6 guys to lift it.

 

oh noez... i destroyed a camera today...

life works in weird ways so yeah i feel as though the stroke occurring could have been a good sign..otherwise things could have gone horribly. i hope she comes out of it fine.some memory loss is at least better than the total and what matters i that she's alright in the end. i wish the best for you mom and i could only imagine what you're going through. everything will be ok <3
