I'm awake Just had a tropical storm hit. Lightning hit one of out palm trees. I was staring out the window when it happened the tree just quivered and exploded. 120 000 people without power in my city. Storms are amazing high.

We had some nice thunder storms and really heavy rain today but only for about 30 min as a cold front was coming through. We were actually under tornado warning, but nothing ever happened tornado wise.

I just got confirmation of my tickets to Transahara in april next year! I am fucking stoked. 5 days of dancing, tripping and smoking some of the finest hash on earth in the Sahara Desert, then a couple of weeks to do as we please, going to hit up Marrakesh then try and make it up to Paradise Valley where Hendrix used to hang out. Transahara is a really small festival as well, only 600 people so I'm lucky to have got the ticket, am going with an old friend who lives abroad who I never see which should be nice... I went to morocco in '02 and spent some time in the mountains but have never been to the desert before, am really fucking excited!

Aye, not too kind on the wallet though. The only way to get to the party site is by 4x4 which is quite exciting... I'd been looking for an excuse to go back to morocco for a while and this was the perfect chance. When I went before it was with my ex gf and quite a lot of the trip was spent stopping lecherous men from feeling her up constantly, this time I'll be with an old buddy so more time to blow our minds and not get in trouble with angry girlfriends heh. I heard the police down that way don't give a fuck either, which is nice. In the cities you're constantly looking over your shoulder for another bribe hungry cop trying to bust you for a bit of hash...
