While I was flying to the hottest place of the country earlier today. There is no clouds in this part of country. I am near the Syria border.

Considering the countries which border Syria its logical to assume you’re somewhere in Israel

    Hot as hell out there....................

..EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT
    SUNDAY...

    * HEAT INDEX VALUES...Will reach dangerously high levels between
105 and 115 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday.

    * TIMING...Dangerous heat and humidity through the weekend. The
worst of the heat will be from late in the morning through the
mid evening hours on both days.

    * IMPACTS...The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during
outdoor exertion or extended exposure. Children and pets
should never be left unattended in vehicles under any
circumstances. This is especially true during warm or hot
weather when car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a
    matter of minutes.

my short list of things i wish didn't exist, ties summer weather with inconsiderate people for number one.
of course tyranny is right up there too, but inconsiderate people ARE tyranny.

one thing i do wish, people on both sides of the issue, wouldn't do, is associating weather with climate.
granted climate drives weather to some degree, though really a very minor and subtle one,
but it also weakens the point that climate change really is real, to try and make that connection.

climate change is glaciers melting, not a 90 degree day in alaska.

Enjoying the dry extreme heat. Earlier today, it was 43.6°C.

It is 41.8°C currently as of 5:51 pm ( 11% humidity) but I dont feel hot any more with the low humidity and the sun that lost its power at this time of day.

wouldn't it be more logical to assume he's been telling the truth about being in turkey for the last several years?

Just seen our local weather report. Apparently in the next few days temperature is set to climb to over 34 o C - not good considering I have COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Around the New York City area. I believe it was about 98 degrees F at my exact location. The heat index was hotter.

Thanks. I use to live in Florida. What we consider a heatwave is typical summer weather in Florida.
