Subforums?

I disagree its not saying that any group can't post in the main forum, its giving people a space of there own
the amount of anti Bi posts we get in the gay forum, I think we need it

also I would add by that logic, you might as well say we shouldn't have a gay forum because gay people will feel segregated

I think there is a 'gay spirituality' and there are definatly books on gay spirituality, haven't heard of a gay religion though.
we might find out if we have a gay spirituality forum!!

one's sexuality has a heavy influence on one's spirituality, and vice versa. these would be topics that would not be well discussed on the basic philosophy and religion pages, since anyone bringing it up would likely be totally harassed and flamed. i think i've said this here somewhere before, but it says "you can be pretty sure you made god in your own image when he hates all the same people you do." anyway, there's anough of those sorts on the other pages with zero understanding or sensitivity, and some with outright hostility towards teh very concept that gays even have a spirit to begin with, much less spiritual issues.

I see some new forums up. I see Bisexual, Coming Out and Confused!, Gay Personals, Gay Polls, and Lesbian. I think they are all good.

oh thank GOD for a "Coming Out and Confused"...assuming people post under the appropriate subforum thats gonna save a helluva lot of time weeding through really tedious thread topics...

That's true. I didn't think of it that way.

 

I went through 83 pages of them I think its terribly sad that about 12 pages are people still very confused and fearful about their sexuality.
oh and it took me two days, but it was worth it
