You have the opportunity to change those views. You might never change your father, but you can change what he is trying to teach you. Good for you that you see the harm of someone so closed minded.

Remember that he has limited many parts of life by his narrow point of view, and this will mean he will need your love even more, because there will be fewer that can love him as he gets older.

You have to ask yourself if you can show him love without agreeing with his point of view. You know you won't change his mind, so just agree to think different and show him the love that he can not show those who are different from himself.
