    Howdy, ma'am.

Yeah, it's stinkin hot here, too. So hot, in fact, that some folks went a little nutzo trying to get cheap iPod laptop computers that were the surplus of a local school system. Baby stroller got crushed. A baby stroller! WTF! Dad got baby out just in time. Old man with a walker got trampled. Some folks need "Louisville Slugger" tatooed across their foreheads, I think.

    Oh, sorry for the threadjack.:&

Ranger, Thats sounds like the only Whitey that I know. We were trailer trash ( to some people ) in west Phoenix and then I spent time on Cole St. while he was there. Shameless Heifer, there ain't much to know about this scootertramp, he rides free, travels far, and makes his living taken pictures. Mostly Harleys, hot rods, and Hippies. Trow in a touch of Gods work ( beautiful scenery ) and I'm a happy camper. PS: I was Charley Blackbeard and Butlers pardner ( along with the rest of those present at the time ) in Nederlands and Arizona in the early 70s.

I never knew Whitey was in Phoenix, I went to Phoenix in 74 and lived for a yr or two out there by Indain School and 12th St. with my sister. I had my daughter Amy there at Maricopa County in 75.. Diane and Shills lived with me there for a while and Count, Jimmy and GaGa came to see me there. We all ended up going back to the Haight after we had a run in with the law.

S.H. It was about 73-74 that a group of STP & GE lived in a little trailer park off Grande Ave in Glendale. Little Rusty, Whitey, Blonde Bobby and Billy G. are the only names that I can recall ( something to do with being there, CRS! ). I do remember that a few of the people that we stayed with on Cole St. were there, also. My 3rd. son was born there in 74. Aw..yes, the friends that I made with puttin to much info on the web. One new friend, he explained to me that I needed to get right with the Lord. I told him that I used to party with Lord, and we never had a problem other than fighting over a bottle of Red Port. ( I actually liked that stuff ) I ask him if he knew how I could get ahold of him, I don't think he new the same Lord. Another wanna be new friend, a beautiful young lady of 14 years wanted me to come free her. She even sent me a picture. So I wrote her back, with picture included, explaining to her that I'm a 67 year old young fart. And if the law didn't bust me for being a pervert ( which I've been accused of ), that I probably would have a heart attact anyway. Those were just 2 of many emails from new friends. All I want is to find my old family.

Does anyone rememer a brother named Tommy Rush? he had another handle back in the day but we can't remember what it was. Anyway some of the old Family came to Austin a few years back & took Tommy to an STP reunion, he's been in a much healthier state of mind since.

    Scootertramp,
I'm leav'n out the "photo" part of your name. It's to long for me to keep typing. Don't mean to confuse you, but it's me, SafetyPin. I'm not consciously following you around the net, but whatever it is I don't mean any harm. Worn out from reading the posts on this forum, and then trying to figure out how to register. Know a little more than last time. What'dya think of my new name. Howdy to the others in this forum too!

The last I saw the STP family, they were camping out around Ward, CO. That was around 71 and I didn't really relate to that group, personally, so I have no idea where they went after that. But maybe some of them are still there or someone is who does know, you could check it out, but you would probably have to go there to get anyone to talk to you. I'm not sure how many of those neighbors hang out online, when many of them don't even have electricity. :)

    Yo This is Chris Wah

Looks like the post here is a year old!

Butler and Nancy Lived in my bus back in 75-76 before the tragic fire when the kids died. It was a sad time but many things moved on.

I see mention of Mouseman in other post and others who are old memories of mine.

I was with the Stp Fam when me Gregwah Candy-o (my sister) were in Boulder way back.

We were up at buccanear ridge(I still cannot spell) when many of the fam was there and in the house in Boulder.

We also were stomping around Peaceful Valley back then and I lived in the cave in the back of the Valley before Gregwah and I took over the little Cabin that Sargent Peppers had lived in. He gave me and Greg the word to move into the Cabin. This was before the tragic fall down the mineshaft that any of the family who was around then remembers.

Wabbit, Mike MF, and many of the crew were around in those days

This was before we went to SF and the Cole Street houses!! Then hooked up with the EPP WPs and The Hog Farmers in the Oakland house! Stacy is still there I think???? Intersteller perpellers and all I expect

Then we went back up to Orygun where we lived for a long time. That is where Butler and Nancy lived in my and Sheila's Bus. It was outside of Euguene on the Springfield side near the Kesey yougert farm.

We were in Southern Orygun up Tiller side at the spot and the Whirlpools!

I have memories and some of us are indeed above dirt but I still spilll my firts sip of drink on the ground for all the brothers and sisters who are under for them and their memories!

    Chriswah
