Jesus fucking Christ! What if a 3 year old fell down and drove one into its skull?

A few weeks ago a Tim Hortons owner got in trouble for pouring water on a homeless man outside his shop.

Human beings...we are all human beings for Christ's sake! I just don't get the lack of compassion for your fellow man. Some day...those who mistreat others will pay... in some way, no doubt about that.

Even if they're at the entrance and not on the sidewalks, aren't they kind of a hazard to everyone? If you slipped on some ice and fell on those things that could hurt.

There has to be a better way. We've spent money on weapons that have eventually been used against us or abandoned for our enemies to use. It's a waste. We need to change our priorities and deal with this issue. These are human beings we're talking about, not stray animals. Consider the simple fact that everyone has to be somewhere. If you put spikes at the entrance of a business they'll go somewhere else that they're not wanted. What do we expect them to do, go sleep in the woods? We need more bed space in shelters that connect people to vocational and drug rehab programs instead of making them spend 4 hours a day in church like some of these missions do. Homelessness can happen to almost anyone who's not rich. You don't have to be an alcoholic, drug addict or mentally ill to become homeless. You can become homeless due to financial and health issues too.
