I'll be kind and say: They would definitely struggle to be heard nowadays, and would have to work hard to have something fresh and relevant.
You know what you should go and kill yourself because you've done nothing worthwhile with your time on earth, unlike Kurt Cobain.
It was uncalled for though, even if neodude is just being provocative. Who decides who's done something worthy in his life or not? Famous people get criticized (righteous or not) and people who committed suicide get criticized alot too. Cobain was famous and killed himself, so it's pretty logical lots of people piss on him. Don't let people get to your idol, you're probably both aren't entirely objective.
oh now this was just cute. the way a three year old who has no idea what he is talking about is cute.
Your response has no content and reads like a 12-year-old wrote it. What's the point of spouting crap if you're not going to back it up?? And what's the point of listening to you if you aren't smart enough to write properly?
lol. I'll be sure to phrase my "no content" opinions more eloquently next time, and all for you. You realize I'm not turning this in as an essay, right?

You're entitled to your opinion. But don't expect people to let you spout ignorant bullshit that displays your woeful lack of musical knowledge without backing it up.
Yeah, but don't post stuff that's almost unreadable and then don't even back it up. It's pointless. I'd rather someone who hated Kurt Cobain but gave really good reasons that changed my mind come in here than some kid who hates him because it's the thing to do these days.
Did you know that 87-98% of people who kill themselfs have some sort of mental illness? Mental Illness is like physical illness in the sense that altough there may be ways to treat it you cant choose if you have it or not. No one whould choose to have depression, some people may pretend to for attention but no one goes "oh i wish i was depreesed!". You whouldn't call someone selfish for dieing of cancer or AIDS, so you shouldn't be saying that about people who die due to mental illneses. It's very ignorant to say he was selfish beacuase he was bipolar, and thats a mental illness. If people whould understand mental illnesses better perhaps we chould help people instead of just insulting them. Kurt was an amazeing musician and he was one of the very few people in mainstream music who was genuanly real and origanal.
LOL if that douch were alive today he would be an EMO! and sing songs about cutting himself and what not. if your depressed cutting/killing yourself is not the answer(although we would have less emo whinning pussies), smoke a blunt sit back and forget all your problems.
lack of musical knowledge??? lmao. b/c I dont like kurt cobain? ok man....thanks for making me lol. that was seriously the funniest thing I've heard all day. the dude was talentless. just an image that was capitalized on. get a grip man.
I dont have to back up an opinion. That's why it's an opinion. if you want my reason for not liking him, it's because his music is simple, he had no talent, the band as a whole is over-rated, and he is falsely seen as a martyr just because he offed himself.
You and that neo person are really the only people who happen to find their music mediocre, which probabaly shows how crappy your taste in music is. The fact is they saved the music industry from what it was becoming ( the glam metal scene). The music industry may have done them wrong but Kurt Cobain stayed true to what he really wanted to do, and that was make music that spoke to those people in life who were most tortured and coculdnt find a way out. As far as I know he was one of the most original ever. If you choose to believe that Kurt Cobain sold out you might want to check that out again.
saved the music industry??? have you seen the music industry lately? wow they did a great job saving it, lol. :leaving:
