Stoners Echo Chamber II

I just put Byron in the carrier for the vet tomorrow. He needs his lil tusks cut off again. He was much easier to get this time around in our new pens. We'll I just put another pen around it and then opened the door. If course curiosity got the better of him but he did go straight into the carrier as if he knew. I wonder if he also thought it was time.

I'll try and get a photo lol. His bottom teeth do not align with his top teeth so he cannot wear them down, so they grow out his mouth like big tusks. It looks bad but he can still eat and what not you only worry when they can't but now the lil fella needs some help lol.

I could do it myself but I don't have the confidence too. The vet just uses a dremmel drill and files them off. Take a few seconds. I just don't trust myself nor do I know how to keep him still or how they do.

So it's relatively cheap, basically just paying for the drill bit.

He's about a week over due but it's hard booking appointments at the moment.

he adapted to scooping the pellets up with his tusks, i thought that was kinda cool.

Nope, misaligned jaw. The others file them down by their self while they eat. This guys teeth don't line up so they do it.
The others actually grab hold of their pen and play tug o war to file them back, or they scratch their teeth on the concrete tiles.
So every 6-8 weeks gotta book him in. I've had like 8 rabbits now, this the first time it's happened.

 

Couple hours until we take him in. It's easy cause the vet sees you from the car park at the moment so it's an easy park up they come grab him, to their thing and off ya go. I'll just listen to tunes and sing in my truck. got a good play list going atm anyway with coutbry rock im finding. Best stuff ever. Forever ever, forever ever? Man. They hiked the prices of the rabbit up by like 400% or some shit. It used to cost 15€ the price of the drill bit. Now they're stinging me 65€ that's fucken bullshit. I'll learn how to do it myself. A dremmel isn't even that much.
