Clemson is playing football right now, and my son is there tail-gating. They are only allowing a number of people into the stadium and he said he wasn't going to worry about all of that in a nosebleed section. They have some pretty spectacular tail-gate sections set up, complete with tvs.

He's probably fairly drunk, but he (supposedly) will quit drinking by 4th quarter and then there is about a 2 hour wait to get out of there. He says he is safe to drive, or he will take a nap in his car and wait.

I so so wish weed was legal here.

 

Come to find out my boy (36yr old man) likes the high of cannabis. He may well get his taste for the great herb honestly.

 

Heard the Patriots have swindled a deal with the NFL to get a bye week to get another week of practice in to beat the Broncos.

I built a guitar back in '87... The holy grail guitar. Only one I ever made that I inlayed my name on the headstock. Super Flame Golden Koa top, Honduran Mahogany body and neck, Ebony fretboard, and Flame Maple binding. Mother of pearl and abalone inlays. All hand carved, full hollowbody with two humbuckers. The only reason this guitar will ever be for sale is if I'm dead... Or, maybe it can be cremated with me, I don't know.

It barely survived the house fire in 2012. Paint damage mostly, it went from room-temp>hot>wet>freeze in a couple of hours time. Not good. Today I started to strip the finish. I'm not going to re-spray it, I'll oil finish it this time... Needs some other work too, but there's no burned wood or cracks anywhere. Fancy amber to dark red sunburst finish is scraped off into a can now.

Gotta have it done by late December so it's playable by the anniversary of that fire... I might get it done. Who knows...
