You take a one track mind a lot of places here. Oddly you rarly if ever put these thoughts in the correct place (politics) Keep your own advice in mind. You "ruin" things too with off topic angry bitching.
LOLOL! Show us some more Atreyu and rabbits! What about the race? What do you think? When's your next race?
I have been trying all day to get Channel 7 (CBS) to come back on my tv. I've run the autoprogram about 40 times. This isn't the first time (or the 2nd) I've been through this, losing a channel, having to run that autoprogramming over and over (and over) to get it back. Channel 7 is a local station on top of it all!!! gah My favorite shows come on there. I've taken my pipe, phone and computer to the porch to ass around waiting for my tv antenna (on the roof of the house) to pick up the waves for damn CBS. dagnabbit I WANT OLD EMOJIS too. I may as well put up and shut up.
I haven't watched the real race yet. I have a truck race today but I'm not really feeling in the mood. I feel like just watching TV with wifey, but I always get like this on race day, when I'm actually doing it it's all okay.
Do you get nervous on truck race days? I remember you like to watch the real race for yourself before hearing about it here. GSD show their feelings on their face like goldens, I think.
Lol yeah, it's all in the tongue. If the tongues hanging out then they're happy. No not nervous until just before the race, it's just more like, I couldn't be bothered. I only race the trucks because I pay the admin fees, but it becomes time taxing. Sometimes I just want to come home from work in the morning and relax, not get comfy and then have to worry about racing. It's like added pressure, but as soon as I'm behind the wheel it all goes away.
That is really interesting about the tongue. lol I've never realized that! During the years, I'm embarrassed I didn't see it because looking back I surely see it!!! I never thought before about you working all night and then coming home and having to race. LORD HAVE MERCY! Hey, I think it's fine...while you're young and able - live life to its fullest. Hell yeah. (y)
Tongue in = curious, anxious, alert, ready for command. Tongue out = im having a good time. I cam tell the dog with tongue out has been exercised, that's when the tongue really hangs out to the side. I mean even with our guy the tongue can be all out and happy but the moment you get his attention even if he's exhausted, the tongue will go back in and you get that worried look on his face.
Ahhh - disappointed !!! - Will have to speak to my butcher and get some venison joints reserved for November/December for me. - Ummm - delicious !!!
I didn't want to race today and I thought to myself, heck I may have even mentioned it above, they're usually the races I do good at, so my Laura says go on, you got nothing else on, go have fun. Sooo.... I went out and won the thing! 1/32 WHOOP-WHOOP! And! Last week I said I didn't want to keep being soft against my team boss so when I saw him in my windshield and I was quicker, I went for the lead and I made it stick and got away with it. 3 wins this year! Only one win last year, still so early. Such confidence now. I'm getting up there!
