Really now? If we didn't have science to explore nature and derive medical applications, RebelGray here would have probably never made it through childbirth, and if he were lucky enough chances are he would have died from from disease, lack of nutrition, etc. The world around you, housing, running water, clothing, cheeseburgers, it's all form science. The fact of the matter is that you don't have the slightest clue about what you're debating and are speaking out of pure bias without an ounce of logic; and you have the 'pride' to call me irreasonalable? Take note that according to religion pride is the deadliest sin.

I agree with agnosticism; but that's rather off topic in our current discussion.

I'm pretty sure the Indians didn't have much of a "science" understanding... they had this thing where they would try something, and if it didn't work, then they wouldn't do it again; if it did work, then they would do it again.

Religion told you that pride is the deadliest sin? Can you scientifically explain to me how this happened?

And for the record, I was naturally born, fucker.

Yeah, I'd hate to have two conversations in one thread, but I was thinking we should pack lunches for tomorrow...

    What do you think?

You just explained the scientific method. They experimented then conluded from their results.
Hmm well let's see here; according to the bible Satan was an angel that fell out of God's grace due to pride. Oh, and those things called the Seven Deadly Sins; what did it say? Oh that's right, pride is the deadliest sin.
Naturally born in the modern world and naturally born in an uncivilized one are two completely different things.

I apologize, I thought you were talking about our debate, not the overall topic itself. My bad. :&

in theory yes, but "Geometry" as a study, as ANYTHING used today is totally irrelevent, there was no word, for what geometry was when the universe was created, it simply existed

OR! Monkey see monkey do? Friend died from eating this? Better not eat that.
Friend says jerking off in girls thingy makes babies? I should remember that!

And I forgot that Christianity is the only religion, sorry buddy.

And from context clues in your paragraph that I was referring to when I told you that I was naturally born, I saw that you were talking about the modern world. Cheeseburgers is what really gave it away, though.

now if your talking math and geometry shit son. actually I don't know geometry that much however when it comes to math and religion I think they just branched out from the same logic tree. for example if you've ever heard of the golden ratio which is almost everything is based on including human DNA. it's all part of fractal curvatures and spacial chaos. but my point is that despite all the so called advancement of both religion and math is that they both derive from man and until we have some type of 3rd party explanation whether that be god or aliens we will never understand Either.

Once again, you have just explained the scientific method. 'Monkey see monkey do' is based on logic which is a foundation of science.
It's not just Christianity, it's also in Judaism, Islam, etc., any religion that deals with God as God, a single being. Sure, it doesn't apply to Hinduism or Buddism, but they have no centralized god. This is rather rhetoric.

Any religion that deals with Christ as a God... but sorry, I would say the amount of religions not dealing with Christ outweighs the ones that are dealing with Christ.

edit: and I'd hate to say it, but, bringing religion into a thread that's supposedly about "science" wasn't the best idea

And there is a fine line between scientific method and common sense.
