    i cant stand the fact that what i see in the mirror is rather different to what people see when they look at me - no face is symmetrical

    i still look at them whenever i pass or see them though

    Ya man, when i look in the mirror i cant believe thats what people think of me, cause when you talk, you dont think "how does my face look when i speak". Youre just thinkning on saying what u want to.

    i dunno, ive been doing that most of my life; its much more effective if you just watch through video recordings of yourself

    actually, looking into a mirror is not the same view as when other people are looking at you. the mirror switches the symmetry along a verticle line. your left hand is your image's right hand. the effect is even more pronounced in your face, since no one is perfectly symmetrical... you just get used to seeing yourself in the mirror in that way. the real trick is to get TWO mirrors so that you can correct for this perceptual distortion.
