I'm usually the same with the Big bang theory (although some things in that show annoy me, like the caricatural girl with the squeeky voice and the comic store owner), but what i noticed is I only like watching it by myself. It's not one of those comedies i enjoy watching with a bunch of others.

 

Good: blame the xtc, not the weed!

 

Hmm, can't say I actively watch TV with people other than sports or maybe going to a movie. Not since one of my better friends moved away a few years ago now.

I liked the comic store owner, he's so awkward.
Leonard annoys me with his ugly squinty eye faces and, how he treats Penny sometimes, but then she also annoys me too most times being that typical casted self centred blonde.

 

Somehow the Penny caricature and the sterotypical jokes on it and her relation with Leonard doesn't annoy me.
Comic store owner is too depressing and gets too many lame jokes. Same with the indian guy. But with the jewish nerd who lives with his mum they're generally spot on imo (even though they take roughly the same approach. But with this character it just works).

Leonard jokes get really hilarious when his mother is involved.

 

Ive seen about as much big bang as the commercials would let me. maybe comes to a total of 12min

 

I dug the show for like the first six seasons, loved the nerd references but then I started to notice you could watch any episode from any season and you'd never have to think back to any long term story arcs, because their weren't any . Sheldon and Amy hold hands for like 5 sessons. Holowitz knocks up Bernadette.....and that's pretty much it
