I like to drink too. lol I wish I had a little wine I leave out at Todd's house. lol

 

I mean I don't drink in the mornings...my dead, alcoholic (ex) husband drank in the mornings. I mean I socially drink and have the occasional glass of wine in the evenings. I haven't had a firecracker in about a week before tonight. But anyway...I love a little merlot. They sell them in these little bottles. lol

I feel like this is just a symptom of what is really making you angry though.

That sounds pretty intense.

It doesn't sound like anything is wrong with you... It sounds like you're dealing with some fucked up shit. It sounds like certain people want to make themselves look better and make you feel worse.

 

I remember when the only few fonts web designers could choose from were Times Roman, Arial, Comic Sans, Verdana, and a few others.

Now, we can download from thousands and thousands of fonts online, and they're all free.

But occasionally you'll run into a client who needs an exact font for their project. And then the only source you can get the said font from, costs you $199. Are you fucking kidding me!? But rest assured, I never buy that crap or fall for the scams.

 

I'm looking at this book on CSS from 2005 and they got about 10 standard web fonts available for each OS. Quick search showed in 1997 there were a couple less and I'm not sure if those are inclusive of different OS, or in total.

From what I'm gathering, Web Designers could have more customized fonts on their own computer than those base web fonts and as long as the end user had those same fonts available they could utilize those. But the example in the book also shows the css declaring generic backup fonts in case the specialized font wasn't available, which is a practice still utilized today.
