    The Great Chili Debate: Beans or No Beans?

    hell, I make mine with shredded smoked brisket and chipotles, so..

    see, chili is one of those 'make it how you like, and let everyone else bugger off' kinda things.

    NM hatch green chile. You can buy it online these days and we buy it by the freakin' pound. Put it on pizza, burgers, use it to make green chile chicken enchiladas, burritos, green chile stew. Red chile is essential for Christmas posole, red sauces...they even have red and green chile wine.

    The cuisine was the best part about living in New Mexico.

    We have a gas stove at the new house, so I'll be making a lot more stovetop espresso. Easier with the more consistent heat vs. an electric burner.

    You will turn into a gourmet cook with a gas stove. Tools matter. If you have the right kitchenware and a good gas stove, everything you cook just miraculously comes out better.

    I use electric every day for stovetop espresso....regular coffee to me....cant beat the taste :)
