damnit im going to have to try cold brew now. its been nice not to need caffeine to get up anymore, but i miss it sometimes.

i have several baby squashes. and my artichokes are going to seed. i dont really like them for eating, though if i had enough i would use the hearts, but i love the flowers. and so do the bees. i transplanted some stuff from my parents house.
somehow i have to make today productive

 

Years ago when I worked at this upscale restaurant...they had different lunch and dinner menus and the wait staff wore black fancy pants with white shirts at night, but were otherwise assholes ALL the time lol...we made a type of dip or spread with artichoke hearts. DANG it was good. I'd have to look up how to do it now to remember; but before that I'd never known anybody around here EVER to use artichokes.

I was hoping to be productive today too. But its almost noon...and I may just settle for maybe 2 hours of productivity.

I'm trying to cut back a bit on coffee myself. Trying to hold off until later in the morning to have my first cup. So far I've managed to wait until about 6:15am. Not bad, haha.

Closing on the house is tomorrow. I'm channelling my anxious energy into packing. Also, getting lots of calls in the last couple of days for my business, so it's nice to have it picking up a bit since we are cash poor now.

 

Is that the D.E.N.N.I.S. System episode? Sometimes my friends and I come up with our own "systems" based on the letters of our name.

Dictation time... Because my freaking hands are sticky and I'm too tired to type... I am up against it today... It seems like everything became ready at the same time for fuck sakes

2nd main rail and center tile installed today. by the time im done Ill be a pro at drop ceilings. not this is my first, but first of a room this size.

 

I don't know if I care about caffeine or not. I drink coffee, but if all of a sudden it was decaf, I don't know if I'd notice.

 

I live on coffee

 

I strongly prefer coffee first thing in the morning (2 mugs), but then I'm usually good for the day.

 

When. I. Think. Of. All. The... Good time that's been wasted, having good times. When I was drinking, I should have been thinking. When I was fighting, I should have done the right thing. All of this talken, I shoulda been walken. Good times.
