new neighbor just tilled again for the third run through and then he leveled the end of my driveway where the road guys left a 3 inch ridge......i have a small lettuce patch in and next a 50 foot row of spinach......i will be eating a lot of salad come august

heading to the ferry to get some groceries on the mainland....collect everyones rez orders

 

I hear they are thinking of changing MLB games to 7 innings to speed it up. They were discussing it on ESPN. They were able to have a 10 minute debate on it during the 8th inning of a game while nothing happened in the game. I found it kind of funny because one guy is saying "no no the fans need 9 innings". Meanwhile the camera is showing everyone on their cell phones in a stadium that is probably 1/10th full.

 

maybe they are watching the game on the phone.

 

I recall a recent family reunion where the pace of baseball came up. It seems to be the consensus that the game is too slow.

 

I took today off and it’s been so great!

I don't know. I was just reading Rolling's post about taking the ferry to the mainland to get groceries. Made me think of Amity or something.

All my years in New England and I never went to Nantucket or the Vineyard.

Speaking of Hawaii, how is your son's situation?

 

Hes not said much about it. I havent talked to him in a few days. In Hilo ya cant even see the volcano. I asked him about the earthquake last and he was driving and said he didnt feel anything ..

2 hours in the return ferry lineup on account of memorial day....tons of ny and pen state plates here this weekend....

my new neighbor buddy texted me to say captain was at his house dragging his entire chain behind him lol......it is a 20 foot car towing chain....its heavy...i told him take off the chain and he will go home so he did and he did

i'm home tonight....over to divorcees for laundry maybe....bho night

 

I cut my finger the other day and it wasn't bad but I was playing tug war with my dog and we had a small basketball and you know those little grip bumps? Well they pulled the whole thing open and my finger is mega sore now. Wahhh

 

Wow. Must be a pretty big dog to fit a small basketball in its mouth! I'm sorry your finger hurts.

 

I call jump ball between Irm and her puppers

 

To be fair he can also fit a full size basketball in his mouth, when it's deflated.

 

I'm not sure what jump ball is, but, he's a rediculous energetic German Shepherd with anxiety and ADD so if you're jumping you will be soon knocked and pounced on.

 

Suffice it to say, your "puppers" would likely win.
