Stoned Ramblings

It's a tactical multiplayer game that uses team based communication and strategy to complete objectives. 50 people on the Britain side, 50 people play the German side. With 60+ authentic vehicles to use, 40 authentic weapons. 5x real life British army units and 7x real life German units to play as. Unlike other games this one focuses on realistic battle play so you can't go out there solo and do a Rambo lol.

Its stacking up to be one of the more popular releases of 2018. I'm sure other campaigns will come as there's already demand for the eastern theatre.

What makes this game completely different is there's no American army, which has lots of people excited because the British seem to get neglected in a lot of these FPS games. So I assume there'll be a resurgence of UK FPS gamers. I haven't played one of these for near 10 years because they started going down hill but the ultra realism has me interested again.

Should be released in September I think but I have an early purchase so I can join the Beta testing teams on selective weekends. There's some heaps cool videos of the British army working together to win unlike I've anyone really seen before. It was really realistic and they had to team up in units and smoke screen everything and go in and battle out.

Graphics don't look too bad, nothing special but it's the realism that'll win people over.

Definitely nothing to get upset over, they've been doing these games since the late 80s early 90s. Just none like this before! It's exciting for the gaming genre.

That's it. some sweet youtube videos out there. I love the sound of the planes going over and the Spitfires etc and one of the tank battles is epic. Not sure if you actually can fly yet, but can call in airstrikes. I'd love to be able to fly a big Lancaster and the British side is focused on paratroopers and the airborne so someone might get to fly. In one of the videos I saw it was a marine vet playing and he was saying the realism is pretty legit and how they modelled the armour on the tanks etc had to hit the tigers on the sides and it was legit you needed at least 3 team members to drive a tank so you won't see any rambos out there lol. If you can find the video of the Brits storming what looks to be a big castle school or Something, its pretty cool how it's all team work. And then all the Brit players start talking German and stuff made me laugh because I haven't been involved in the banter since CoD2 days but never against people all around the world.

So I guess team play with clans would be fun but not sure how everyone in the world gets along together trying to work together lol. Hopefully get to play the beta in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know.

 

Holy shit I just may have made a huge mistake.
On the bus to NY. And there seems to be no bathroom on the bus, there is a stop at the main station... no bathroom. The ride is an hour long and I'm good but I could go if needed. But what about a half hour from now? FUCKKKKKK!!!!. Might be no big deal and go when I get to N.Y. but I would have preferred not deal with that and go before the trip.
