doobie time...long day.....I climbed on my roof at 4 in the morning this morning to rescue 2 cats that somehow got through the ripped screen and escaped....the other 2 I managed to wrangle o the ground outside

so picture it...me...in pyjamas….climbing from the roof on a shaky ladder holding a very pissed off cat by the scruff of its neck with its claws dangerously close to my wrist with 2 excited dogs waiting on the ground....it was a scene I tell you what

I did sustain several scratches but worth it to not have sickchick have another emotional meltdown over a missing cat...last time she was inconsolable….beyond consolation....tears and sobs and snot and not being able to speak between sobs...it was horrifting to someone like me who does not do well with a crying chick

 

Yain't right.

Went to an arcade/bowling alley tonight. I had a vodka drink called hippy lemonade. Other drink I had,called Netflix and chill was better though.

 

I'm about to spend 190US on a whole encyclopaedia of pool training and shots from Dr Dave Billiards. I can download and the burn them to DVD and then I can take them to my garage and practice and set up shots on the TV out there while I train. I think it is a good idea.

I spoke to some more people yesterday and they just said I'm in a slump, happens to everyone in a competing sports world. The key thing they all say is don't beat myself up over it. But that's not really who I am. I am hard on myself, with everything I do. I don't seek perfection in many regards, but I want to do things to the best of my ability, and when it comes to MY ABILITY well I'm hard on myself because it's on me. I'm not one to point fingers and blame this and that. Yes there are table factors that come in to play a lot in pool but still, all my faults are mine and if I'm not hard on myself I feel like well, then I'm just some whinging person lol.

So this is my step. Actual proper training from a reputable source. I'm going to learn every single shot in this encyclopaedia. It may take a year, maybe more. But I feel it'll be very beneficial for me.
