You can see a tiny bit of the lake out the window during the winter, but it doesn't look like anything because it is frozen and covered in snow.

In the spring and summer, when I'd want to look at it, the leaves on the trees block the view. Oh well.

 

my 3rd floor would make an excellent room. i havent the funds to make that happen tho. I can see all across the river.

 

I'm really happy that the previous owners make the attic into a real room, because it makes a great office. At some point we will move out bedroom up here - probably when the kids are old enough to know what the sounds coming from our bedroom mean...

I am finally heading over to get my flu shot

 

Mine gave me a low grade fever and a rash for about 24 hours after. I haven't really had that before. It is probably because I'm on meds that suppress my immune system.

 

I have never had the flu and I have always had a flu shot since I can remember I've never had a bad reaction in any way whatsoever

 

I had a local reaction this year. Swelling around the site and I couldnt lift my arm for a couple of days

 

Wth, not being able to lift your arm for a few days because of the fricking flu??
