ive never heard of coffee grounds in ragu sauce, we use them in brines and marinades sometimes.
i would think it would be gritty, but maybe not too different from pepper.

Rofl I just trolled our race league and baited it to get perfect responses and arguments. I said after my article (by the way the race was shit there was that many wrecks, worst race I've had to commentate) I said "yeah good race fellas I'll recap all 6 of those green flag laps" and the ensuing remarks from drivers having a go at each other is sparking some intense rivalries and honestly, that's what we need in our little eSport at the moment. Ohh next few weeks will be fun I am sure.

We do have a tradition of the men wearing Christmas jumpers on Christmas day.. You can tell the fun people, some are hysterical.... perhaps it's a NW thing, lots are doing it now.

Pasties? Rather have a steak and ale pie any day lol

Did you like the T-shirt? That's the original rare hot Dickens Cider one lol

There's me on my roof :( basically the 29 car and the one in front of it with the trippy colors that does actually fuck with your head if you look at it too long lol, the hit i went through the middle and they hit me in the sides at the same time launching me over. I ended up upside down on the inside wall lol.

If that was true all of Germany would be in mourning and the flags lowered to half-staff

well that series is pretty fierce and it's a development series I run, so we get crashes because it's a lot of noobs racing ovals. Plus we usually run on short tracks which create intense side by side racing so someone who doesn't know how to get around an oval, see they plant foot to the floor off corners, that might work on the first lap of new tyres, but not after 5, so they spin and take people out. All a learning curve. I offer tips after the race and have taken them for solo laps showing them what to actually do properly.

I keep saying, oval racing is different to most motorsport because in every other motorsport you try and go as fast as you can, but on ovals with the heavier overpowered stock cars, you chew through tires extremely quickly, so there's no point being fast on lap 1 or lap 5 or even lap 10, you want to be fast on lap 40 or 50 so slower = faster, save your tyres and that's something these guys who do the other series racing dont really understand that concept.

Oval racing would do my head in. I would flip right out. It must be kind of Zen really.

    its the best :p
why people wanna race around behind another car you cant pass and snake around for hours like that is beyond me.
on ovals you have many opportunities to pass and you're always racing someone. you dont get many breaks.
anyone who races in our league who is new and never done it before always say the same thing

"man, this is not as easy at it looks is it?"

Depends on the series. If you get good drivers in a short track series maybe 40mins, that's for today's race though. Our other series if say average 90mins then the full distance races each month go for 3-4hrs but take into account qualifying and open practice we are there for at least 5hrs. It's exhausting and it's not like it's easy on the body either. I get leg cramps, sore arms, you literally saw atthe wheel every lap, I had a crash in practice on weekend that near ripped my wheel apart it's definitely damaged I need to take it off and try to fix it. And during hot months, you literally bucket out sweat I come out drenched, especially my back and shoulders. It's a tough slog.

Long races also hurt your back and several guys have back problems like me. I remember getting 2 leg cramps. I wrecked out after 460/500 laps once it got too unbearable I learned from that last month though in a long race and I got the same problem again but I grit my teeth and said I'm gonna be sore tomorrow! And kept going and I won that 3hr 15 Min race.

The only interactive game I'm really interested in is Elite Dangerous. I don't know if anyone's heard of it. It was first out on the Sinclair Spectrum in the '80s as a wireframe game but the franchise took off and it migrated to PC. Basically you have a spaceship and you can be either a criminal smuggling drugs and contraband or you can be a cop. You can dock with space stations and board. You have to earn credits by trading and upgrading your ship. I was addicted back in the day. I know I could really get into this one again.
