I'm good at printers, Noserider. What I always have to do is...

For Windows 10:
Go to 'Settings' in the start menu.
Go to 'Devices'
Select 'Printers & Scanners'
Select the Printer that's acting up from the list and uninstall it from your list of devices
On the same page select 'Add a printer or scanner'
Select the printer you just uninstalled and reinstall it
Now see if it works right by printing a test page or something.

That's what I do. Don't know if it will work though.
