Hmm, I like to mix the house up though and I really enjoy Xmas. If I can have a tree to look at and it reminds me of family and tradition for 2 or 3 months a year then it helps me out mentally and spiritually. :) I love putting the tree up even if just with wifey. It brings me actual feelings of anticipation and excitement.

Oh I know what I can do lol. I can post a pic of my tree and I'll hide things in it and if you want to play you can try and find them lol. Like "where's Jeff Gordon" I have a mini figuring of him lol.

Ahhhhh - hell of day yesterday and last night - it rained and rained all day and the wind blew and blew - the weather station about 50 miles away along the coast from me recorded wind gusts at 109 mph. Although I didn't go out, the dampness in the air in general played havoc with my arthritis. I couldn't get comfortable in bed at all last night and in the early hours gave up entirely and came and slept in my riser/recliner armchair.

Have now swopped over my morphine patch, eaten my breakfast and am just now drinking my coffee which I have 'sweetened' with a tot of Brandy and very gradually the pain in my hips is beginning to subside.

ye I almost didn't post that thought in case I offended anyone but thanks all of you for taking it the right way. I wasn't assuming it was the case for all of you, just sharing experience.

Totally agree really that men often talk about more interesting/fun things.. and I find the same thing as Irm says here, with the kids and family stuff all starting and I'm not interested.. or like, I am, I love people's kids and being the cool "aunt" person but some of them it seems like that's all there is to talk about.

Or often with women it's very hard to get opinions. They kind of just nod and agree with everything.

Mel you're not lacking anything. If anything I see people who find group socialising with their own gender tiring to have something that the others lack. Most of what is exhausting is the subconscious hierarchy stuff. Games people play to create a sense of social order and where they fit in the group.

I don't know. The more I think about it the more I think yeah women suck. hahaa. that's not how i really feel. I'm confused by this subjrct.

I'm confused by this concept "friendship". hahaha.

I think I likes nsa friends. seems like going to the club and just having a human time. I find that my mind is well rested. not wondering for something to do, my boredom level has dropped. flying has changed the way I dream now. I cant get back to the prison dream.. for months. Ill bet all my friends think I abandoned them. but every time I come to break them out they want to stay.. just the one were their was a mountain side along a glistening lake.

should be flying this week. my phone is messed up when I zoom so Id rather not play with it to much cause it will upset me. should just buy myself new phone but then ive to do all the work to set it up and I just dont feel like it. new device always pissy connecting.

so anyways. Ill make the best little video I can. my pilot has her phone, so she can take some pictures for me and send them email. the overhead aerial shots I posted last week were from her camera.

    Me too lol
I just mostly want a good one on one friendship that has a lot of depth.
I've had 3 female friends like that over the course of my life and we're still in touch but it isnt the same anymore.
    I need a new BFF

But for reasons I've already listed I find it really hard to get close to anyone hahah it's a paradox
