Looking at the standings for the rest of the season, 3 races to go until Cup play-offs, I will definitely make the play-offs. I'll be out first week because I cannot make the race at Talladega but all I wanted to do was make the play-offs, which I've done so I'm proud of the accomplishment. Still have a shot to win the truck series I am running 3rd right now with 6 races to go, 22 points behind leader.

 

Just taking a look at my shed side skirting. So after moving everything away from the wall on the inside I realised what happened. The dogs urine must have gotten slightly caught under the garage side panels and the yellow insulation foam which was used on the ground has absorbed the urine and started to rot the bottom of the shed panels from the inside out.

Best way to fix this is buy 4 new side panels and have someone to help install them. The cheaper alternative is to buy one side panel and cut maybe 150mm out of each panel section from the bottom of my shed. Clean it up and then rivet and glue in another side section that I'll cut from the one panel.

So that's why rust proofing never worked for me, it wasn't the outside that was the problem, it was the inside that I never saw because of the plaster board.

Then I'll have to run some salastic or something on the bottom of the she panels after I fix it to allow run off of water and dog urine, then also the inside of the shed panels and then use that insulation foam again.

Anyway I think I know what I'm doing. I'll look into it on the weekend. All my trade folk friends say yep it'll be heaps cheaper doing it my way and also won't have to remove the guttering to take panels off. So thats good.

Oh wow, there's a real retired racecar driver racing in todays truck race, Me and him are going at it for fastest time in practice. He's fractionally quicker than me atm.
He goes under a fake driver name, but we've got it out of him who he is. He used to race is CUP series NASCAR. Marcos Ambrose.

 

My shopping came to 4.20 in the shop the other day and I said "ha, 4.20" and the kid said, uncertainly, "yeah... 4.20..?" as if I might just be a bit slow.

 

Decent clean race. Qualified in 7th. Got some bullshit penalty early which cost me positions. I had to race back from a lap down and 19th at one stage to finish in 7th. Absolutely exhausted now though, my left wrist really hurts.

It may have been a iRacing glitch as another person has come forward complaining about black flags. I just said you gotta cop it on the chin and plug away at it again.

I thin I had top 5 pace today had we had a few more accidents to bunch the field back up a bit. I was really happy with my long run pace. Still 3rd in championship points but.

Gonna smoke some bongs now.

I have purchased a double horse trailer with parents' help, will be paying that back over next season. Woman with the orchard says there is a bit of land behind the orchard that can't even be seen from the road, and I can go on it. The guy who uses the orchard wants to help set up electric for me. It's all really kind and I'm relieved to have so easily made sure I can still live here. But I'm not sure when I'll actually move.

that sounds amazing the neighbour on the next Farm over has a horse trailer that I've had my eye on for 7 years he is a alcoholic and I know if I bring him a bottle he'll tell me to throw it away but it could be the bottle that kills him so I can't do that catching him on a sober day to negotiate it's difficult I've already spoken to the owner who said I can have it but to clear it with the guy who's landed stored on 1st which is the drunk guy I will be converting it into a small living camping travelling trailer.....
the one I have my eye on it sold and it's very likely painted with lead-based paint and I have been advised that when refinishing it to wear a mask When redoing the paint job sanding etcetera
