Some folks don't want to get nailed so they carry the crosses up the big hill and starve and dehydrate themselves and re-enact other tortures.

My 4/20 was off to a rough start but it turned out well in the end.
I wanted to go to see Dave Grisman and the Dawg Trio. An excellent mandolin player. But the tickets were sold out. I underestimated how popular the show would be, and didn't think to place an order ahead of time.

That's OK though because I had an alternative plan with some friends. Live music at a dive bar down the street.

 

nothing like having your very own senior infant who lives in a dementia world thinking theres a family of people coming here.

Omg really? It's such a cool movie I love it. It's so suspenseful and watching the main character played by Jack Nicholson I think, watching him lose his mind throughout the film is really cool.

But yes that scene makes me laugh just with jacks facial expressions. Mr Grady..

For real...lol I've done that a couple of times, and it always take me a minute to realize wth just happened...I mean we were talking, and I ...oh yeah, I cussed. good grief

So I was thrilled to know I could say what I wanted. We gossiped about family and how crazy most of us are...so nothing new. lol

I've got to go to bed, and try to go to sleep so I can get up early and start cleaning and working and I might see if I can tie up some cats and a mean old woman. lol I'M TEASING.

You can see on the long view where I cut too far in. But I will do what Orison says and fertilise and hopefully will come back. Well it normally would in sections anyway but you see my reserved judgement on trimming too much or they'll look ugly and bare. Okay and the tops don't look as straight in the photo as they do in real life. .

So as you see this particular hedge covers that whole neighbour off plus 2/3 yard behind. We put up a garden shed to further block them for us. Our opposite neighbors have their own hedge, but we are uphill so when they cut it we can look down into their yard but they can't see up into ours. Just our head until it grows back. That's why I keep our hedge so tall so those neighbors and their kids can't see into our yard.

 

It's not raining... yet!
