Can you imagine? The French Government or the Parisian archdiocese trying to hire artists to recreate that stuff?

Damn. I mean it would really be something and I’d love to see it.

I got some blue fox fishing spinners and it says on the box.. "may cause cancer and reproductive harm" ..
Is that me or the fish?

Anything to discredit a typical capitalistic tendency, comrade!
It doesn't take anything away from the biblical story and meaning of it :)

I can't even tell by looking at the fb page.
It's too over the top to be real, but it is?..?

  9. Agreed.

My original post said "irrelevant", but I decided to go with equally eloquent "eh you had to"

I have a friend in Paris right now who can see it burning from her hotel

I generally dislike when old buildings are destroyed then recreated. You can make it look the same or similar enough but you can never recapture the feel of a building with history. Old buildings feel like centuries of the people who have walked through their halls

I agree, but i was hoping the stone parts would suffer far less. And there are some old and architecturally (sp?) and historically significant buildings that are far less original than most peeps think. So with that in mind I was hoping same would count here. But yes, a terrible waste through one stupid accident :(

Edit: I disagree, it can be recaptured in certain instances and with the right intent and effort (especially if the stone walls and foundation are original). It's quite a job though. But there are some incredibly skilled people.

I bought a new toy today. An electric chainsaw hedger on a big pole so I don't have to climb ladders anymore. :) I'm very excited.

It's only electric, 75cc but good reviews and the boy talked me into it hehe. Couldn't say no to a cute face. :p it also comes with some attachments like edgers and hedgers and weed whacker smacker but my use will be the chainsaw.
