From my understanding, if you could hypothetically have perspective from the event horizon (you couldn't because the black hole would crush you) time would seem to stop.

 

I have those moments of epiphany towards various things as well but a Black Hole is just on a different level of mindblowing, it really pushes the human limits of understanding of the cosmos.

I bet this observation just axed a few different Theories of Everything and has probably prompted excitement in a bunch of other various phenomena.

Big race tomorrow. 250 laps at Bristol.

I uploaded a video from earlier. Here are 6 hotlaps in the low 14.2 secs and under. My fastest lap was a 14.005. I'm testing my start here basically low line works for the first few laps, then you need to run the wall. You will hear when I go back to the bottom, how much throttle I'm not using, so although the low line is the shortest way around the track, you lose too much time getting back to the throttle. See how close I get to the walls? oh I also wave for you guys if you can see my reflection.

Also notice how on the line, I try to nick the apron (the flat off the banking) with my left front, which makes the car very unsteady, but allows you to turn off the corner quicker if you get it right. And in all honesty, I need to get closer to the wall.

What you can't see, or maybe you can, is the variable banking in the corners. Basically, the low line is not as steep as the high side and the middle line is in between both, so you get a much better run off the corners up high as you can carry more speed. The low line will almost be impossible to pass on, there will be guys hitting the wall left right and centre, it's going to take a lot of patience and a ton of luck to make it through this race and finish well. On the plus side, you basically cannot be pass on the bottom, so even if I am slower, they'll never get off the corner well enough on the bottom to pass me. Also, trying to pass me over consecutive laps on the bottom will only heat their RF tyre up and wear it down.

I know, right. my black flannels. That was the gyro cam, just so I could show you how steep the track is. So that's the race I'm going to next year, I've been on that track in a bus doing like 79mph hehe and I've sat in the owners box and I walked the track and stood in victory lane.

Okay so it starts off with me whistling.. Not very confidently lol.. Then we are heading down the front stretch into turn 1 and 2, down the back stretch. Now in turn 3 and 4 I see a truck get pushed up high in 3rd place and I know he's going into the wall, and I also know what goes up must come down. So I position my truck in the centre of the track so I have most room to move.

Now these things don't turn at the best of times which is why you hear me on and off throttle getting through it, I'm basically trying to slide my way around the trucks wrecking. I'm also on the brakes which makes the rear end skate around.

Sorry about the glare but I need bright lights to shrunk my pupil to see properly.

 

aight so, i had already had two bong ripperz before i had my hot bath, but blitz a small handful of homegrown about 2hrs later and just rippa and i think it's good initial hit was like POH right in the skull. then my eyes have gotten heavy and all. I have an unusual buzz, not similar to what I normally. get. I think i done alright here bagged and weighed, spot on 4oz.

I have never really listened to Hank Williams but I am guessing the groove and vocals are imitative, because a lot of his stuff sounds like Weylon Jennings, who of course idolised Hank Williams.
This song though, i dunno wtf this is, it's like got these random screaming parts in it, like a cross over heavy metal and its random as fuck and the pace is extra addictive. I just love banjos.

The Rebel Within album is half price on Google so I will just get that seeing as that's the upbeat most fun song I've heard all morning. I'm making it my theme song for the rest of the week.

I tell you what there's gonna be some folks around me this camping trip wondering what drugs I'm on with all this new country I'm getting.
