flying used to be cool to me, i was flying as an unattended minor when i was 7/ 8 years old.
but about 11 years ago i flew with hubby and son.
there is a special terror when a mishap could eliminate your family. same kind of reasoning behind not serving in the military in the same unit/ on the same vessel as siblings. no parent wants all their eggs in one basket.

 

we used baby food jars to sell oil back when because they hold exactly 112 grms ...there was no doubt....if it was full to the lower rim it had a q/p in it...22.5 vials.....the glass was extra strong and held up to heating

that was 30 plus years ago....are baby food jarss still the same?....the ol gerbers creamed beef etc?...still good glass?....anyone who buys this stuff?

 

We've been reluctant to plan any trips without the babe for this reason and we've discussed taking separate planes whenever we do

 

I've never bought baby food in jars. We just started feeding our kids solid(ish) food at around 6 months old and they figured it out.

I think the jars are still pretty much the same though.

snowed some today but none stuck

 

Been really nice here. Grass is looking good. I even had the flannel sleeves pulled up when fishing but the breeze off the lake was still very cold. I caught a few sticks and slimey stuff but no fish. Wife and dog wouldn't stop making noise. He's such a big girl, he barks at his reflection but we both know he's too scared to go into the water so I dunno what the point of barking at it is... and then wife throws rocks in the lake..

I got my draw for state championships on the weekend. Not sure when I play but I know who and I'm disappointed. I dropped near 50 ranking places in state so I should be against someone easy but noooo I cop some past state rep who hasn't played in a year so his ranking dropped more. It's so unfair!

On the plus side I beat this motherfucker last time, so I'm not too concerned. I usually play better in a race to 8 rather than one solo match, so anyway I been practicing a lot. Getting ready for battle.

Me beating him twice this year should set the advantage to me cause hopefully he's looking at the draw going damn, she has beaten me recently.

I'll be okay, just try to not panic, just go with it and have fun.

 

I can see it similar to last year, I'll get a lousy draw time probably early morning. I'll be up all Friday night and play Saturday morning. Or maybe I'll get Friday draw. It's a 3 day event. Straight knock out.

 

I am feeling very motivated lately. Something about the longer days and better weather really gets my ass in gear.
