Yep, nothing really excites me anymore in terms of movies. Good guys win, bad guys win for a bit then lose. It's all fluff.

I'm getting like this with music too, I know the next riff without even hearing it. I can predict progression and pauses and blast beats and so on.

 

I dont really watch tv and movies for the plot because of that, everything has been done before. What makes something good for me is character development. I may be able to guess what's going to happen, but why did it happen, why did the character make that choice and are they interesting enough for me to even care?

 

no spoilers cause I will finish it tomorrow....the other show I am watching is Russian doll and she dies over and over too

this evening me and this girl went for walk in the woods and after a few minutes she said she was scared...I said ''your're scared?,i gotta walk outta here alone''

 

There are still some out the cult movies that I like to watch, Valhalla Rising was really good and it was even hard to follow. I think it was so good because it had no women in it, it was just Viking guys. There's not much talking either so it's suspenseful in that way, keeps you thinking.

Basically about a slave that ends up fighting free, pretty brutal scenes, spilling guts out etc. He ends up a ship destined for war but they get lost in fog and they end up in America or Canada. They all get picked off by the native Indians.

I was thinking about watching Russian Doll, I might put it on now actually. Do you like it?

 

yes I do...only 1 episode in...i'm savouring it

 

There's this series I'm watching.. "Inside number 9".. If you want interesting plot twists, some of them are good. Very good. Sometimes you think the twist has been revealed.. Then you are surprised again. The last one I watched I was getting used to the style and was thinking "this must have a twist but I can't see how it will shock or surprise me..." then.. OH! Didn't see that coming.

They're all standalone stories, so some are way better than others. A couple of them are very dark. Some of the funniest ones will suddenly shock me with a dark twist. A couple have been rubbish.. But mostly they're good.
