The dry herb vapes are good - then you don't have to worry about the fancy concentrates and stuff. I have the Pax 2 and really like it. The Pax 3 apparently is able to do regular bud or concentrates, if that's your thing. Not cheap, though.

I have a glass vapour genie
Prefer being able to use it with a lighter, doesn't need power, like pipes and bongs.

Was delivered today... I had to wait for it to warm up a little before plugging it in and turning it on. (Being tubes and all) Poor thing was sitting in the cold for about a week getting here. It was still spitting out cold air when I did finely fire it up...

Like the listing said, it's "New"... even though it's a 1998. It was possibly a store demo or was at the NAMM show and then stored away somewhere. (NAMM=National Association of Music Merchants)

The chassis layout is just like the Blue... Same era, both made at the Matamp factory, similar components, etc.



They sound similar, but different enough to call them separate voices when played together. (which I haven't done yet.)


Seeing as "I keep all vintage things original and perfect as manufactured", I'm gonna take this apart and do something completely different. The amp chassis is coming out of the combo cabinet and going into a head shell so I can use it with a full stack. (The fourth full stack)

The combo cabinet becomes a 2X12 speaker cabinet for a different amp. I already have this other matching combo cabinet that I am doing the same thing with... The "Billy Gibbons" combo cabinet.



The two cabinets are identical except covering and grill material.




I have a pair of Orange "Crush" solid state amps I will use with the 2X12's for a much more portable stereo rig and my 4 full stack tube rig in the studio.

I'm probably not the best person to ask because I may smoke a few times a week or I may go weeks without it depending on my mood, and when I do smoke I only take a hit or two. I'm usually just trying to take some anxiety away or relieve body aches, not necessarily to get high
But yeah it does the trick. I usually use it with wax and rarely with the dry herb.
