couple possiblilities first- it could be the apap and ibuprofen thats making your stomach hurt. second - a long time ago i used to do alot of hydrocodone. i used it for maybe a year or so and then one day i started getting really sick whenever i did em. every time i did em i would throw up and start itching hardcore(this never happened to be before). it got to the point where i could hold down 5mg but anything more would make me puke. i stopped using them after this and didnt use them again for over 2 years. i think i might have just developed an allergy. maybe just my bodies self protection mechanism. anyway just an idea, hope you feel better. maybe just lay off em for awhile
Simple fact. Opiates cause nausea. Also, Ibuprofen/APAP causes discomfort. Whether you give a fuck or not, its still gonna make your stomach hurt, bro.
^My entire point. Thanks for helping. It absolutely has nothing to do with the histamine release, rofl.
i don't remember all the pills but im sure most of them were the usual with apap. do they even make pills that are ONLY hydrocodone?
Hey Euphoria and others, Histamine release is part of the reaction in the body that causes nausea due to opioids, which makes sense considering Promethazine is the most commonly used med and is a 1st gen anti histamine. There are other receptors involved as well so read up especially on chemoreceptor trigger zone. http://www.nauseaandvomiting.co.uk/NAVRES001-2-NandV-general.htm#A10 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemoreceptor_trigger_zone So instead of tearing each other down and false comments, read up before you make posts.:cheers2:
That still basically just proves that opiates cause nausea, not the histamine release FROM opiates. Fentanyl RARELY causes histamine release, but still causes nausea. I never tore him apart for anything, I simply asked for some proof on what he said...he is the one who had no desire to actually back up his claim. Second time this has happened with this guy...I see a trend!
