Any events held outdoors are safer if there are social distancing and masks--as opposed to those crowded Florida beaches. Tulsa experienced a surge in Covid 19 cases after the Trump rally. No need for that. I'm out & about with mask. I even had six friends over last night--outside. We kept our distance. Like Gloomy, I don't know anybody who has had the virus. I live in a small town where the cases are on the decline, although they're climbing in other parts of the state. Most of my friends are Republican Trump supporters, but have worn their masks out of respect for their neighbors. Now the local government is requiring it.

What surprises me is that a President who wants to reopen the economy has been so reluctant to endorse masks and social distancing. I'd bet his example and messaging would turn this thing around, and might even make him seem intelligent. And at such little effort and cost.

 

Yeah... I wouldn't go that far.
