Anyone can claim they have a 700$ custom built computer with all way better parts than a 2000$ mac but i dont believe you. NO PIC NO PROOF. You've been building computer parts since before i was conceived so you assume im an idiot right? Well i grew up in the 90,s 2000,s where ive messing with computers since i was 5ish years old. I dont see how being behind a generation makes me inferior in fact i would guess it makes us superior. And again... you prove my point.... Jobs cornered the niche market for the average "moronic and technologically illiterate" consumer being the goal of any consumer electronics company. You work with computers man. You obviously know more than most people about them as do I but that doesnt make people idiots, just as an accountant knows more about taxes, a lawyer knows more about the law, and a chemist knows more about chemistry. Yes lsd doesnt really have much to do with it its just a +1 to a man I already admire. Main reason Im a fan of jobs was his drive to motivate employees to think outside the box. His honesty and brutal criticism. His goal to not do what the competition does and instead do what the competition wish they could have done. To be creative and believe nothing was out of reach. Quite a few people thought jobs was an asshole boss, but arnt most great bosses and ass? Anger shows that he cares what you doing. Anyone working at apple without a care for anything but their paycheck obviously wouldn't approve, however people who truly care for their work would love to see they have a boss who pays attention and shares his opinion on their hard work.

Actually the quality of the parts I use is better than what Apple uses, I check the reviews and shit about the individual hardware items, not the box as a whole, and as such I pair together components that provide me with the best bang for my buck. As a result I can always put together a better machine for less money than Apple or any other VAR. All the parts I use have been purchased from Newegg.com Not sure where you are getting your prices from, but they are way off from what I paid. For instance the RAM only cost about $150 for 8 gigs, (seriously, where in the hell did you find that price ) the video card only cost $130, so I got two, just need an SLI MOBO (this springs upgrade ) I never purchase cases, I have used the same ATX case for the last 3 builds. I don't care too much about how pretty it is, I care about how well it functions. I don't sit staring at the case all day, why spend much $$ on it? Power supply is a Corsair 650 watt SLI capable, $60 The only prices you actually guessed right are the monitor and DVD burner. The only component that is being offered at Apple currently that would trump my system's is the CPU and video card, and maybe the display, everything else I can promise is inferior to the components I use. I was in error though, the cost is really about $1,000 though, I forgot to add the cost of the SSD and 1 terabyte drive which were added later. I won't even get into you praising some guy based on him risking his life and sanity by taking something as dangerous and potentially lethal as LSD! I'm sure he came up with some of those gay looking gadgets because of the brain cells the LSD destroyed. Yeah, I'll bet that explains a lot, he suffered permanent brain damage from LSD.

Well when you consider that I make use of sales, special promotions and e-mail deals and that the major components were purchased about 4 years ago when the prices were completely different, it isn't bullshit at all. Seeing that you don't build your own systems, you may not be aware of the pricing trends with computer components, especially RAM and CPU's. As a component becomes old tech and gets phased out you will see a trend in pricing where they climb as they are no longer manufactured, that accounts for the extremely high price you found for the RAM. Concerning LSD, I am pretty certain I know a lot more than you about it, probably know more about the evil weed, marijuana, as well. :mickey:
Well we were compareing market price apple computer to market price of your "custom build" any sale is irrelevant because apple could have the same thing. Who said i dont build my own systems? But im not aware of this "pricing trend" where ram can fluctuate from 100 to nearly 1000$.... And i dont believe you. As for LSD. you've obviously never done it from your recent statements therefore ide like to inform you. you dont know dick about lsd until you have done lsd.

Well first of all most of these tests werent done on humans so they may not be accurate and ill try to keep this short because psychology and the human brain really bores me. I skimmed through and didn't see anything about actual "damage" other than chromosomal breakage which is caused by a large number of things besides lsd and only 6 out of 9 studies indicated some degree of chromosomal breakage. Which means LSD does not cause this. but with more research. It is possible to learn it could be a contributing factor. (chromosomal breakage is also not a big deal and the chromosomes usually heal themselves.) Now The rest of this page is filled with not damage but changes lsd may produce. Almost everything you put in your body creates chemical changes. It doesn't mean their dangerous and neither is lsd. Whos to say change is a bad thing? While some studies may have concluded things lsd may change. They still do not know the consequences of certain changes and what is being lost or created. Remember these are psyche drugs, mind expanding. They really do permanently altar your mind, and a majority people ive talked to come away from the experience pleased with changes. I personally drop quite a bit of acid. I have noticed quite a bit of changes to my brain. This change is for the better. Ive had major increases in Happiness ,more comfortable, more creative, interested in learning, reading, writing, being a good person. As well as a lot more personal changes ide rather not get into right now. Now you told me to read that and then we can talk. Well until you hit some lsd im done talking. Because i just talked about the Physical changes lsd causes. But you havnt even scratched the surface on what lsd is capable of.
