Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

Not sure how they’ll handle the death of Leia because the studio has already decided they won’t use C.G.I to reconstruct a digital Leia in Episode IX.

On that note a lot of people were upset over how they handled the death of Admiral Ackbar

 

That grey imperial commander from A new hope was really well digitally recreated in Rogue One. Very bearable (and pretty crafty) imo!

Now, why the hell hasnt anyone thought of lightsaber nunchucks before

I bet you that people have Happily they're just not that good yet at making a proper working lightsaber

Its still sci fi, I still will go the cinemas to see it, directed by Ron Howard so it will be good

But I dont give a shit about how a non Harrison Ford Han me yet another guy in a wookie suit or a guy that no doubt is going to be a 2000teens PC'ed down non ladies man Calrissian

Scene by scene Rogue One was a good movie, but there was no point, no real tension, we knew they were going to blow up the deathstar. Same with this one, we know Han is eventually going to get frozen in carbonite by Jabba, shoot Greedo first and Lando will screw him over

as for Lando well just take a look at the photo below; he looks a lot like an old school street pimp

 

First time I take notice of this. I approve Hope it works out well though. I may be a fan but I'm still pretty critical. Like not any actor will do for Han Solo (obviously can't be Harrison Ford though ).

That we knew how events were going after Rogue One didn't bother me one bit. In fact, the ending is spot on! I really watch Star wars movies from a complete different perspective than VG it seems. He probably hates the prequel trilogy not just because of Jar Jar and how bad he found Christensen but secretly because its already clear what happens with Anakin lol

 

I look at it this way....at least we have star wars movies.
If Lucas kept control he said he might make one more movie. Without him we have had 3 already and one on the way.

 

And they stay loyal to the originals, the setting, lore etc. Very important. Not too much liberties taken under the idea of 'its just scifi'.
I heard one of the newer movies will take place in a different part of the Star Wars universe. That's of course a good chance of inserting soms new things without annoyingly adding rubbish to what we already know and love. I may hope (and expect) it maintains that Star wars atmosphere

 

Ewan mcgreogor is still young enough to do an obi wan prequel. Would have much preferred to see him in a Disney non Lucas prequel, at least then there would also be jedi and lightsabers

 

Good to see we still agree about something as well every once in awhile But I love Chewie and Han too and don't really mind the news as it is now.

If you fly the Millennium Falcon in Battlefront 2 their remarks are such a tiny but fun addition (ah well, remarks.. you know what Chewbacca sounds like) There's a shitload of prequel stuff in it, including Darth maul as a playable character but no Obi Wan... A miss imo

 

Yes, and we get to view these in a timely manner, not years and years apart. My dad (whose passed away) would have loved to see all these movies.

 

I can't wait to see this. I wish they did an Obi Wan movie, or a Yoda movie. I would definitely love to see those!
