Still havent bothered seeing Solo

 

No problem they just announced it will be available on DVD September 14th and on BluRay September 25th.

 

Still haven't seen it. Maybe on Monday eve when I get paid and can afford to stream it on Amazon.

 

Well I finally watched TLJ on Netflix a week ago. After havin' seen it I can safely say I was utterly unimpressed. Great CGI but that was about it. I even found myself fallin' asleep less than 45 minutes in. That said I can understand why it appeals to so many of you. It's designed to, just like every other big budget Hollywood film has been.

At least the prequels had a semi-coherent story & plot.

Man, that's unfair! Here (Netherlands) Netflix only has one Star wars movie available (Rogue one). And I was finally thinking we have the exact same stuff on Netflix as the US...

 

I really can’t argue with you, personally I enjoyed the film but there are plenty Star Wars purists out there who can’t stand The Last Jedi,
and literally can’t find anything positive to say about the film.

Their critical of the performance of Rose Tico, their upset that Rey put on 15-20 lbs. between movies (May The Fat Be With You) they don’t like the scene where General Leia Organa gets blown out into space only to survive by using the force, They also believe she a metaphor for Hillary Clinton. The death of Admiral Ackbar, The encounter between Chewbacca and Porg leaves one to wonder if veganism is being shoved down our throat, There was a great deal of criticism how Rey’s parentage was handled, What purpose did it serve to include the scene where Luke Skywalker milks some alien beast and drinks it’s green milk. Just to name a few…
